I’ve had pretty good mpg so far. Bought in early October. Almost 5,300 miles in 3 months. Almost 1,200 electric miles. 23.2 mpg average. Impressed with that. Have taken two 500 mile road trips. I have used sport mode for maybe 10 total miles. Love that mode but love the higher mpgs more lol. I worked for half the time about 50 miles round trip all freeway. The other half I got a new job only about 25 mile round trip and all local roads.

lariat 502A, driving from Bend to Salem Oregon today. Icy roads truck did well on slippery mode 4x4 with about 800lbs total payload including passengers.
Really disappointed I can’t put chains on her though. Didn’t need them today but if roads were a little worse I would have needed them for sure. I will need to look to change my tires so that I can be ready for next time

I was warned by my salesman that the PowerBoost did not particularly like cold weather. Noticeable drop in mpg when less than 10 degrees. Same drive home was 4 mpg better the next day when temp was just under 30 degrees.

The stock tires i got 275/265R18 are not compatible with snow chains according to the manual. Only a handful of tires are compatible with snow chains. I will probably update here in the near future. Apparently the ones i have now don't have enough clearance in the back tires to accommodate the extra chain thickness. Thinner tires will allow for that extra space needed.

It's your call of course, but chains exist ..... The fronts are always close, but the rears should be very roomy...

Impressed you found a salesman who not only knows what he’s talking about but was honest with you. Makes for happier customers when they don’t have wild expectations due to a false sales pitch

Here is my best tank so far. This tank definitely would’ve been 24 or higher if it weren’t for the 8 inches of snow I just had to go play in. It was showing 25.2 before I went to play in the snow, then 23.1 when I was done (I got like 12mpg for that trip between running in non regen drive modes and having too much fun lol). Creeped it back up a little bit but couldn’t get it back to 24 with it being so cold. Still, I call that a win!

I bought some auto socks for my 18 since most states will count them on chains. They're also super low profile as can be expected. Think I paid around $100 for them.

I've had my truck for about a week and am absolutely struggling to get above 20 mpg. Lots of short trips but I'm driving very conservatively.

Did anyone else notice an initial break-in and then better mileage? I've only got about 200 miles on it.

Short trips in the cold are going to be pretty poor. Earlier going one way about 12 minutes, I got 18mpg. Coming back once it was warm was 26. No appreciable elevation change

^^^ This. I'm in the mid teens until I get over about 15 -20 mins in our recent sub zero weather. Driving back from PA at an avg of 77mph I was getting 21.9. SO I agree short trips and cold will both throw off your mileage.
