I was referring to my 2020 (should’ve been clear) that has no indicator and would always wonder if it was closed whenever I didn’t put into reverse before pulling away. That’s just another improvement on the 2021.
Oh, well I thought you were referring to the photo of the little truck in the tac area. Don't know if this will show if door not shut or tailgate down. Will have to do a test later and see.

They are not and that gripes me. I do have several Marathons around me and they are TTF and are usually the cheapest plus if you have a rewards card you can get 5 cents off every gallon. I a;ways use a TTF.

Have only had one fill up but here are some of my MPGs. Some warm ups but not many.

First two were driving back and forth to the dealer, 60% hwy 40% small city stuff. 3rd one is with some warm ups, several short trips of less than 5 or 6 miles, all local rural driving.

Dealer let me put premium fuel in it when I took delivery, I just filled up at about 1/2 tank last night with 87. I'm currently at just over 400 miles and I'm very happy with the Power of the truck, the MPGs and the Lexus like smooth quiet ride.

What RPM does your engine idle at when warming up? Haven’t seen the engine idle below 1,000 Rpm even after warmed up when it kicks on to charge. Found the setting for ECO IDLE, but when thats engaged it cranks it up to about 1,500. This is all when I’m park, not in drive. Everyone else getting the same?

Mine seems to idle at 1400 RPM when really cold - 20 c, and 900 RPM when warm.

I continue to be impressed by this truck. The mileage keeps getting better and better. Some crazy miles when making a short run, but right where EPA estimates place it with some normal drives.

Never has a car or Truck get the EPA mileage. I will say it does like moderate temps. When it was in the 20’s this last week I couldn’t get past about 21mpg...and I was really trying. Now that’s it’s been in the 40’s, mileage seems to have improved with normal driving.

Thats awesome! what speeds were you traveling? I only have about 700 Miles on my truck and have found that it will get 24 Mpg at 65 mph but when I travel 75 mph I am getting around 21. My numbers are all in Normal Mode or slippery . outside temp is also in the -13 to -10 deg c range

I was going about 70-72 when I was getting the 24mpgs. About 80% highway for that trip in ECO. On the 29 mpg trip it was all city and mostly 35 and 45 mph.

I do run premium in this and my 2012 mustang. Costco gas. I know some will say it makes no difference, but when I had my 2019 ranger there was a definite difference of about 2mpg when I ran 87 vs 93

So just for fun I decided to do a "best MPG" run on what I hope is my final trip from Sacramento to San Jose before trading my truck in.

This is NOT from a Powerboost (don't have it yet) but from my 2017 XLT 3.5 Ecoboost 4x2 3.55 ratio. The EPA rating is 18/25 on it, but I can beat that by going 55-60mph (getting like 26-27mpg). So I used mostly highways and country roads where going that speed isn't annoying to anyone. The route also includes stop lights and stop signs in a few towns, which hurts a bit. It will be fun to try this exact route when I get my Powerboost! Would be awesome to break that 26mpg barrier that is so elusive...

Have you compared your truck's calculated MPG vs actual MPG? Just curious to see how accurate it is.

I just did a compare on my 2010 F150 5.4L 4x4 Lariat last weekend on a trip up north, using ~33 gallons of gas. Mix of highway (majority), around town, and a little off-roading through some deep snow (+ some donuts on empty snow covered parking lots, couldn't resist  ). Computer came back at 15mpg, actual was 13mpg.

Yes Eco Idle sets it at 1500.
