Thats remarkable.

What are your tricks?
He’s 2wd and a PB. Unicorn stuff 😊

If he was a RCSB 2wd PB he’d get 50mpg and be so fast we wouldn’t see him go by. 😎

Just bought my 2021 Powerboost about a month ago, unfortunately my mileage is pretty lousy so far. I am generally averaging around 15.5mpg so far. I am guessing that most, if not all, of my issues are due to modifications by the previous owner which are as follows. The other issue being I live off a freeway that is posted at 80mph. Cruising at 85mpg really kills the mileage, but mine still isn't stellar even at 70-75mph.

Limited 22" wheels.
Load range E tires in 285/55/22 (34.4 inches) that weigh 61 lbs each.
Leveling kit in the front.

I would like to get my mileage numbers up, somewhere in the 19-20mpg would be fine with me, I don't need to hypermile for 25mpg. I would like to keep the leveling kit if possible. I am wondering what you guys think I might get mileage wise if I went to something like a Nitto Recon Grappler in 315/45/22 or a 275/65/20?

The 22 inch Recon weighs in at 51 lbs, the 20" comes in at 47.5. Both lose the E rating, but I am not planning a lot of heavy towing or off road so I would rather have the MPG.

Based on your experience, would a tire change get me back toward 19-20mpg average?

After driving my new PB for about 3 weeks I've learned it all depends on the amount of elevation changes you are driving on. I've gotten 12mpg and 26 mpg going to the same place about 4 miles down the road, but taking different routes. Bone stock

Hand calculation was 25.4 MPG. Estimated range of over 800 miles, which might be possible under the same conditions. My driving lately seems to be close to optimal conditions for the truck except for running the AC a lot. I do drive to optimize MPG, but I'm also often carrying a few hundred pounds of stuff.

I did recently tow a full moving trailer that likely weighed around 5000 pounds to Tennesse and towed the empty trailer (2600 pounds) back. Overall MPG while towing was 17.1 MPG.

There is a huge variance in MPG depending on numerous factors. There are headwinds vs tailwinds, acceleration, engaging the turbo, etc. There is an exponential increase in wind resistance the faster you go. The primary factor is to not forget you are pushing a brick down the highway with an internal combustion engine.

The fuel economy number it gives us is a lifetime average I think.

I need to run my fixed loop again as I did testing my 34.1" LTs, but my 75mph MPG is now down to 19.7 post tremor plate install.

I have 2000 miles on the ‘24 PowerBoost and just towed my 21’ travel trailer. I’m getting 13.8mpg towing at around 60mph, running Shell v-power fuel. I hope this helps someone!

I haven’t but good to know. I suppose resetting after the first oil change and going from there post break in would be alright.

I've had my 2021 KR PB for nearly a month and have averaged 20.8 mpg.

This pickup will absolutely sip fuel around town if I can drive with a soft right foot. I've commuted to work with a best displayed average of 27.8 MPG over 14.2 miles. Not bad at all.....now if Ford could do the same thing at 75 mph, then I'd be happier than a pig in slop.
