What is the Gap on the Drivers side bashplate

See the pic, what is the gap for in the driver's side?

Looks like the bash plate was jammed up on the left thus opening up the gap seen on the right side.

The 'gap' you see looks like a shadow.

If you look at the other pics it just seems to be a shadow.

Not a shadow, different pic, angle etc;. It definitely appears they blasted this Raptor with no holding back, just like they're doing with the Bronco, lots manufacturer plates Broncos with non-Mall Hauler dings and scrapes out there!

Not sure if I'm seeing it. Looks like a standard bash plate to me.

Is it all covered under the bumper to bumper warranty (or in this case bump to bump) as only drove it like shown in the advertising trailers.
