From my experience, insurance companies don't care about safety tech. What they see is more that could go wrong in simple accidents that will cost them more money.
That kind of mirrors the esp service plan too. All they cared about for the quote was 4x4 or not. And if you were going to plow snow with it.

I have Progressive and went from a 2015 F-150 XLT to a 2021 F-150 Lariat Hybrid and my rate went down $19.

I had USAA for about 10 years until I bought my f-150. I saved a lot by changing to a different company. I have never had an accident or a claim. Seems that USAA isn't always best for veterans.

All they see are statistics. It doesn’t matter how safe a car is if a high percentage of drivers who own that particular car are irresponsible.

I have State Farm, Full coverage with a $0.00 deductible for comprehensive and $100.00 for collision. From my 2016 loaded Lariet to a 2021 loaded Platinum, my premium increased by $5.75 a month. Disclaimer - I have been with State Farm for 43 years, with no accidents ever, and no tickets since 1984.

Hmm Maybe I need a new agent instead of new company.

USAA. Not too happy with their rates or service for a few years now. Been with them for a LONG time (27 years+). The company used to be ALOT better.

I’ve heard a lot of people say that too, I think they’ve gotten too big somewhere. They’ve been shedding lots of their offerings, I assume to manage their core but they need to get back on the ball.

I shop around every year or 2. Its worth the time to get quotes from as many of the reputable online places as you can, I'm currently with progressive, but for a while Geico was cheaper, and before that state farm. They all seem to slowly start jacking your rates up over time, so I just see who else wants my business more. I think they just all take turns having the lowest rates and hope you'll get lazy and not shop around when they start raising them on you.

Went from Progressive to Liberty Mutual and saved quite a bit. Also like the fact I can pay for 12 months with LM.

I'm with Progressive. Pretty high coverages and low deductibles. With same coverages, I went from my 2020 to my 2022 and it went down about $60 for a 6 month policy. I was pleasantly surprised. Both were XLT 302A FX4 so I'm assuming it was due to safety tech. The 22 stickered for about $7k more than the 20.
