I have never once called mine in real life anything but "the truck" but I do name them in Fordpass because it asks us to.

Lightning Blue XLT (had it for 2 weeks) = Blue Lightning
Shadow Black XLT (had for >3 years) = Black Shadow
Star White KR (new) = White Star

This doesn't work with every paint color, mine just happened to be noun-adjective so transposing to adjective-noun is just funny to me.

Other vehicles we just call "the infiniti", "the ranger", and older ones "the escape" and "the van" etc.

We name all our cars - Gigi for my wife's big SUV (really GG for Grocery Getter or Gas Guzzler); 1970 Nissan Patrol is Oso since it is from South America and growls like a bear; my son's Heritage Blue FJ Cruiser is the Beast. Our Audi is called "Innie" (my son thought Audi sounds like "outie" as in belly buttons . . .) - we have lots of cars.

In My Ford Pass its called "Hi Hoe Silver"
