Different schools of thought on giving your truck a name...
My son and daughter in-law name all their vehicles for characters on Gilmore Girls, i.e. their Expedition was Babette.
My wife thought I already named this truck because we both say Patience but that will never fly once I get it.
Some think you can't name a car unless it's at least 10 years old.
Interested in feed back....

This one is named: Mercedes.

I walked into a Mercedes dealership once and saw my dream car on the showroom floor. It was so beautiful. Advanced German luxury amenities and comfort with 4 years of maintenance included.
The car I 'Want' ... won't carry plywood or tow my trailers.

The truck I Need is more expensive than the car of my dreams.
...and it's just mid-line with many missing features but,

I don't want a car.
I ordered this truck, made for me. Doesn't mean I don't wish it were a Mercedes but it's as close as I'm going to come and still live my life up a winding mountain 10-ply-testing driveway. I sleep in my truck often, with dogs and dirt with glue and paint on the back of my pants and beer spilling slobs of the hard-working world...among every and any other wild life that a truck can take you to. Mercedes and I are going. lol... such a dumb name.

I've always owned Excursions, my first was a 2000 Block XL, her name was Rolling Thunder, the second was a 2003 Midnight Blue Metallic & Gray XL named The Perfect Storm. My last Excursion was a 2005 Oxford White Eddie Bauer Edition named Blizzard.

My wife's 2019 Escape was named Snow Flake because Blizzard was twice the size of her Matchbox Car!

After someone totaled Blizzard last September I chose the only F-150 on the lot, a Carbon Gray Metallic 2022 F-150 SFX 4x4 who earned the name Tornado.

I tried to keep storm related names due to how I'd plow through any kind of weather while the all the candy@$$ drivers had pull to the side of the rode. I'd leave a trail of ice, rain or snow in their wake.

I just say its "my truck". Call me old fashioned I guess. Though at present I guess the more accurate wording would be "Ford's Truck".

I'm not in the habit of naming inanimate objects but I did once restore a 1950 8N and it was called Sheneeda. Cause, she-need-a, brakes and a distributor and a new tire etc. etc.

Since this new truck is so high tech, some, not always going smoothly and will have a wake up word, I'd really like to call it Hal but apparently, you can't do custom wake up words.

Paisano. It's a King Ranch and growing up in Texas my Dad always called the roadrunners paisanos, "countrymen". I like to think of my truck as a fellow Texan, it's Michigan birth certificate notwithstanding.

Blue my kids thought of it I loved it technically this is Blue 3.0 because it’s my 3rd blue F-150
