GLARE FREE headlights...i had to drive for months at a bit after 2 Am 7 days a week taking grandchild to work on some very dark, critter filled state hwys...being able to see the ditches and the fence lines 70 or more feet off the hwy...life changing , especially when a vehicle approaches and only place that dims is the light hitting the oncoming driver

massage seats are still the cats meow in my book
i did 4 day fast trip to south florida and back to east texas... made my 12 to 14 hrs in the drivers seat much more comfy

then the top of the list is stop and go cruise. i abused it in crazy florida haul butt ...stop , haul butt STOP traffic.

i find little easter eggs all the time driving it
the overall QUIETNESS at 75 mph is so nice, you can have conversations

The interior tailgate release and bed camera. These are two features not present on my previous F150s. I use them every weekend.

13k miles driven and I just realized the truck had this feature. I had the front camera on and hit the wiper wash and saw a little arm pop out. Had to recruit my lovely wife to record the video for me.
I recorded the action from the 12" center screen too using the front camera view, haha

You'll also get a notification on the dash when it needs to be cleaned.

btw, one feature i just realized how much i love is the auto dimming side view on the lariat.

so my 2017 302A had it but in 2018 i believe, it was standard on lariats (not sure which trim level if not all) bc my 2020 302A didnt have it.

I'm glad the 22 has it b/c not being blinded by lights is rather nice in the evening hours.

Surprised at how much nicer it is than my 2020 Raptor was.
Only thing I hated was the Active Air Dam. That was gone on day 2.

  • 360 Camera
  • 12 inch screen
  • High quality fit & finish throughout
  • How quiet it is
  • How comfortable it is
  • How fast it is
  • How well it corners
  • Ventilated seats
  • Auto climate control & seat heat/cool on remote start
  • Goodyear Wranglers, the best tires I've had come on a new car - dry, snow, rain and mild off-road (with and without trailer)
  • Pro Power on Board, I hoped I would like it, and I LOVE it!
  • How well it tows our travel trailer
  • Pro Trailer Backup Assist*
  • Rear seat spaciousness
  • New features via OTA (has been flawless for me)
  • Carbonized Grey, not my first choice, as bought off lot, but has really grown on me

* Yes, I can backup a trailer myself. Quite well, thank you. And yes, PTBA is just weird when you're first using it. HOWEVER, once your trailer is pointed in the right direction - just let go of the nob. The steering wheel will spin left & right - but the trailer goes exactly straight!

Who ever thought math would simplify backing up a trailer!?!

Fold down work surface. I use it as a changing table for my child. I sit on the edge of the middle rear seat and get it done. My wife jokes that we should make an f150 commercial advertising this.
yes you should what an awesome great idea for use of the flat surface

I fix software bugs!
I’m a simple guy… my last F-150 had more gizmos and gadgets… I don’t think I used half of them more than once…

I like not having to first turn on the cruise control then set the speed… one button press does it all…

I like the wireless CarPlay, “Siri listens to me” 😉

The backup camera seems to have better resolution than my 2020, although still pinkish at night.

My paint job seems better than my past trucks.

I like having a V8 again.

Finally, a center console lid that closes automatically 😉

Is this due to the brake lights/running lights being illuminated?

Very likely… the lighted areas all seem to be pinkish… do LEDs help it any? I’m used to it…. Kind of a Love/Hate deal…

Honestly I don’t recall, I don’t drive my truck in the dark all that often anymore
