Did a little kayaking today in the Julington Durbin Creek Nature Preserve. It was nice not having to load the boats on top of our outback or odyssey. First time using the truck to transport them and worked well. We did about 4 miles today.

Pulled a brand new Ram 1500 out of a snowy ditch after the guy buried it during a storm. Guess the highway tires on his weren't that good in the snow like he thought! My 5.0 with stock sized open country AT3 pulled it out without a problem. Didn't have a chance to grab a pic... Too much traffic

Night ride in the rain with friends at the local trails last night. The heated seats felt AWFULLY NICE after 2 hrs in 7C rain, lol!

I really like the tailgate pad - so much easier/quicker than my rear-hitch rack or squeezing the bike into the back of my old Element.

Nice looking truck/bike! With that tailgate pad do you get any scuffing on the side of your truck/tail lights? On my old Colorado, if I put the tire facing out, the fork came off the side of the pad and would contact the paint. If I flipped the tire facing in, the tire would scuff the tail lights.

Thanks. So far, so good! The inside of this pad (Raceface T2) has foam with deep slots that the downtube sits in; along with the velcro strap, this keeps the bike pretty locked in. I don't pay attention to which way the tire is facing, tbh, and I haven't noticed anything different. The external-facing portion of the pad also has larger foam portions that give further protection to the outside of the gate and fork.
Mind you, my trips with this setup are only 15-20min long on pretty smooth roads, so it hasn't been stressed yet.

Really thought this would fit and be able to close the tailgate would probably fit without the box.

No one believes me, our old TV did actually did actually give up the ghost, totally not a Super Bowl purchase, though I did pick up this truck from Philly…

Does that say 86”? Very nice
It does, was not planning on turning the living room into a movie theatre, but the price with a 5 year warranty made it a pretty easy decision.

Love kayaking! Looks like a fun time. Did the Kayaks move around back there at all during the ride?

I ordered the F-150 XLT 5.0 V8 engine. Agate Black, 4x4 but not the offroad package. 302a high it comes w/ 12'' Infotainment screen and leather seats! I'm so stoked! I wanted to add the 360-Degree-Camera, which is $765 but they make you also add the tow package, so it would have been $2,100! So I passed on that, I don't tow anything :( To be honest I was a Chevy guy but I switched. This will be my first Ford pickup truck.
