Believe me your posts have been actually keeping me sane during all of this. Good news however, my truck is in the same state as I am. Has been here since last Friday. The last 30 miles is taking a looong time to get here.
Iβve seen a few now. Iβm expecting to probably have to trim both the fixed and active air dams some, and maybe have to use a power press to push the crash bars out of there is significant rubbing but I should be able to retain them and not have to cut them out that way. If it only runs on the front I may just remove those. Obviously I want to keep that back for safety reasons.Interested to see how that turns out. I havenβt seen that size tire with a 0 offset...let us know how it goes!
Did you only use one bucket?I also picked up a Chemical Guys dirt trap for this wash.
I was a tad skeptical, but the theory is the dirt will fall though the funnels down to the bottom of the bucket and the trap will act act a buffer to prevent that dirt from getting stirred back up and onto you wash mit and rag, thus preventing swirls and scratches.
It will fit in a traditional Home Depot/Loweβs store five gallon bucket, but not perfectly. (They want you to buy their special bucket ? that costs a ton more). My HD bucket worked fine for me.
You can see the water is relatively clear for having been used to wash over the whole truck including the wheels.
This is what was at the bottom after I removed the trap.
If it kept all this out of my mit, and off of my truck, Iβd say money well spent!

I bought a usb to 12v cigarette lighter adapter. That plugs in the center console and allows me to plug in my dash camera. We're all in the same boat. I like a 3ft cord, but I only want to pull out what I need at any given time from the console. So I like my 12V dual Qi fast charger inside my console, but obviously they took that away from us in 2021. I never used the data ports in the center stack on my 2017 because it wants to read my phone as mass storage, or connect android auto, etc. I just want to charge! I do not want a data connection, so this is why I hope the center console ports are charge only. Also, I HOPE they are fast charge, and not the minimum 500mA data port charge on the USB-A.
In the worst case, I may pop out the included USB-A/USB-C plug inside the console and try to put a 12V socket there. There has to be 12V wiring to power the ports already, Ford just did us dirty by not providing a socket!
too much of an archIt curves a bit from the inside but from the outside itβs not as noticeable because of the curvature of the glass. But on the sides itβs a a few inches below the indicator and in the middle itβs almost even with the bottom of the rear view.
