Not there yet, unfortunately, I am hoping in the next few days, do want the respirator before I try, and it won’t be here until Thursday, I will be surprised if I’m ready by then, but it’s possible.
I’ve had great success with it painting bike frames….even redoing the clear on a vintage carbon frame. Love it!

Not bad. I guess I’ve never heard of that brand of muffler before. How does it sound in the cab at highway speed?

Yes, Max Tow is 14,000 lbs for trailer. Payload differs from truck to truck depending on options. The payload on my 302a is 1,777 according to my door sticker. I was curious about as I wondered if a Lariat would still offer enough payload for me. Really wishing I had the 4Auto feature on the Lariat, haha
I have a 2021 Lariat SCREW 6.5' box, with max tow, and almost optioned out. 3.5L EB with 3.55 axel
My payload is 1,696 lbs
Panoramic glass roof (probably stole 100-125 lbs)
ProPower 2kW (probably stole another 50-100 lbs)
B&O Unleashed 18 speaker (probably another 50 lbs)
Lariat High package 502A power steering column, 2nd row heated seats (maybe another 50lbs)

So if you'd get a Lariat with fewer options the payload could be up in the 1800-1900 range, I would think. My specific truck has a tow rating of 13,800lbs

Living in MN the 4Auto feature and all the heated seats and steering wheel, are amazing luxuries to have.
The glass roof is neat, but I think if I were do it over again, I would save that $1500, and gain whatever payload that stole...just seems like we keep shade closed a lot....

Thank you. If I did it again, I'd probably option a Lariat similar to my XLT meaning:
Max Tow
Tow mirrors
360 cameras
OnBoard Scales
Tailgate step
Fold flat Storage
I'm at 1,777 lbs now so was thinking a Lariat with similar options might put me around the 1,500 lbs payload mark. Which I don't think would be enough.

Sounds great. No drone while cruising yet just loud enough when on the throttle. Not sure if you’re on FB but aI posted a video here:

I have all of that, minus the tailgate step. I’m at 1831 lbs payload, but only because I also removed 4wd. I agree that, with 4wd, it would be around 1500 lbs payload.

I am resurrecting this to say:

Avoid that Duplicolor 1K clear like the plague

I thought I finished painting the AirDesign Fender vents with custom mounts I made only to learn the 1K yellowed noticeably enough to make me take them off and start the fun process of removing the clear to re-clear.

Giving spray max 2k a go, will let you know how it goes.

I had to repaint an Mariner outboard (greyish silver). Which is indistinguishable from a Mercury (black), its just a sales gimmick. I used Spray Max in Black on that and looked great!

Sorry, I was busy putting and doing stuff to mine.

Front and rear molded Ford mudflaps.
Put my Bakfip bed cover that has been 3 of my F150s now.
Put my old swing storage on, fit and went on just like it did on my 2018
Switched tires to Michelin Defenders.
Cut end of tail pipe off just behind rear axle (don't like the look of tail pipe coming out, this is cleaner looking)
Cut 7 inches off antenna (hits the garage top of door)
Added 3m clear protection on head lights. (was easy enough to do myself)
Took off Ford's 4X4 sticker and added my own.
Taking it soon to get tint put on front 2 side windows. Same as back or maybe a little lighter.
Added my Alabama (Roll Tide!) front collage tag.

I think she is looking pretty good now!

Hey Sgt.
I noticed your LineX bedliner in your photo, and it seems the bolts were removed/-any concern that they were supposed to be a one time use torque bolt??
I’m planning to head to LineX this week, just wondered about that issue or concern as I’ve read on so many different comments about the bolt removal.
Thanks

Swapped out my XLT sport grille for a Lariat sport grille. Was a new takeoff from ebay $200. Personally I like the lariat sport grill the best followed by a PTM STX.

They taped them and did not remove them, so no. Love the LineX! I don't remember if I asked them to do that or not, worth mentioning that to them.

I would say initial result was mixed. Just after I installed it, we got downpours while I was at work. When I got home, I had to load stuff in the bed and there was a lot of dampness around the tailgate. No standing water, but it was obviously wet. Made a ~2Β½ hr drive in the rain after loading up the bed, and when we got to the destination the bed was dry. All the moisture dried up on our trip, not sure how though.

I haven't checked much since, but it was at least helping to keep some moisture out. I still get some water in at the corners of my tonneau and by the bed step cutout while sitting, and I'm not sure there's a way to prevent that. For the $25 I paid for it, it's fine. The Ford kit is part VFL3Z99404A06A for anyone that needs it.
Update on the tailgate seal since it's done nothing but rain it seems like the past week. The only moisture that gets in is at the corners of my tonneau cover while my truck is parked. While driving, I haven't seen any water/moisture getting in while driving, which is what I wanted. I may try to figure out how to seal the leaky corners by the tonneau and tailgate at some point, but overall it's working well.
