How difficult was this? Any special tools needed?Installed Bilstein 6112/5160s this morning. Struts set to position 4 which is 1.5" height increase netting a 2.25" difference front to rear instead of 3.75". Love the more controlled ride vs. stock. 1,100 miles on the truck.

Did you have the B&O 8 speaker system or the stock XLT system?Swapped the front 6.75's from I just put in from Crutchfield for a pair of Kicker 43DSC69304 D-Series 6x9's using these adapters and it made a HUGE improvement in bass as well as mid and high end sound clarity. Everything fits perfectly and no clearance issues at all.
Also There was just too much chrome on the truck so I swapped the chrome XLT grill for a Lariat sport grill. Not the best pictures but I like the contrast of the dark grill.
Future plans If I decide to keep going are to get the bumpers wrapped to match the body color as well as the two main horizontal bars on the grill as well. But for now I am happy with is.
It's the stock XLT system and no I didn't paint the grill. It looks a lot darker in the picture.
It wasn't difficult. just need some basic metric tools and a prybar. I do have some background in mechanics which helped me, but I do think the average guy can do this and use youtube videos for the process.
At that point I wasn't willing to drive down again and didn't trust their attention to detail. Plus they don't have great reviews. Rhino shop is much closer to my home, customer service was significantly better and I'm very happy with the results. They did 6 coats on the floor, 4 coats on the front wall and 2 coats on each side wall. In looking at it closely, the attention to detail was very evident.

@Ryan74 remember that the truck needs to go straight to the alignment shop and the headlights need to be adjusted (for the leveled front end). The latter can easily be done yourself too, just remember to measure/mark where the headlight beam hits on a wall and readjust after the level. Little white philips plastic screw on the top of each headlight.
After having around 15K miles on it, the ride is a little changed. When not towing I run the factory preset of 5psi. It makes it a little rigid. My wife doesn't like it so I pulled the fuse and lowered to 1-2psi and it is like it back at stock.
