Actually removed the air dam AND trimmed the valance.
1. Looks better, more aggressive. (also not worried about the minor MPG improvement)
2. Sat so low that when we took it to the beach, valance was plowing through the sand. I was actually worried it was going to get ripped off.

Real simple. Once you crawl under, there's 6 screws holding the active air dam on. Comes off real easy. If that's all you're doing, you're done. If you're trimming the valance as well, you'll want to pull the motors off also, which is 6 more bolts (also straightforward). Don't try to take the valance off if you're going to trim it. Far easier to just do on the truck. There's a natural seam on it already which is where I cut it. I think it looks far better.

There's a good thread on it already.

Hey @RedStorm, looks great! Have you noticed much of hit to MPG? Anything you can quantify? Thanks!

I have not noticed any changes to my MPG. I'm also not the best measure as I haven't been doing much freeway driving and since it doesn't deploy until 45+ MPH, hasn't really effected me.

Went to one of the local dealers to recharge my patience by sitting in a Lariat/Tremor but I can’t even do that lol

I'm about to pull the trigger on some all black Fuel Mavericks. Your pics confirmed I'm making the right choice for my Space White rig. Looking awesome!

One question I must ask is, were you able to reuse the factory lug nuts or did you need to purchase a new set to fit under the cap?

Installed the new Soundskins that were just released for the '21 and up F150s'. Took a few hours to get it all installed. I used many of the large size scraps to install on the inside skin of each of the doors prior to installing the main SoundSkins panel. Haven't had a chance to drive with it yet to evaluate how it sounds. These shipped yesterday and showed up this morning. Great customer service from the SoundSkins crew!

Any benefit to the soundskins if you don't plan on putting in an aftermarket sound system?

I've seen similar systems done in other cars ,but they also do the floor boards. curious how much just the door helps (not that the trucks are horrible as is).

Definitely seems more quiet in the cab now.
