What’s your initial thoughts? I installed mine last week and am a little unimpressed.
I'm not too crazy on the tight fit between hybrid coolant tank housing itself and intake box isn't seal as it should.

I'm curious what you mean by unimpressed?
Unless you are talking about quality of manufacturing and/or look and sound?
Saw a YT video where the guy said the plastic was thin and brittle, he broke the area that has a fitting. What was your impression of it?
The air box itself wasn't the best of quality, I'm not sure I'd describe it personally as brittle though. My comment was based almost solely on not much improvement in throttle response, and sound. You could tell and HEAR the AFE on my 16 F150 that it had a CAI. To me, my truck still sounds like a factory truck.

Added tailgate letters and painted Ford emblem. Added painted Deberti tow hooks and will soon change out grille Ford emblem with painted one like tailgate has. Stripe in grille coming also in tow hook color.

My truck was built 11/8 and arrived to the dealership 11/30. It already had some surface rust on the front of the rear diff. I brushed the rust off and spent a couple hours coating the underbody. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

It’s been a busy few days for the truck in general. I changed out the stock tires for pirelli all terrain plus tires. I needed something that was good off-road and had good snow performance in p-rating.

I spent 2 hours applying β€œthe last coat” ceramic finish. Really happy with how it turned out. The truck shines in person.

I installed the bak x4s tonneau. Good build quality, but for the price it should fit directly from the factory. I had to find an aluminum shim from Lowe’s to get it to close properly. But now the power tailgate works and the tonneau actually locks/makes a seal. Looks fantastic with lead foot.

Like the painted emblem. What tools needed to get to the tailgate emblem and how hard to get the bolts out?
Just remove the inside tailgate bolts holding on the access panel and remove panel. Looking down into tailgate there are 4 spring clips plus 2 sided tape holding emblem on. I got a pair of needle nose pliers and squeezed clips while pushing down on back of emblem with big screw driver,etc and it pushed out of place enough to close gate and get fingers under edges of emblem and pull rest of way tearing the 2 sided tape free. I ordered new emblem from Ebay from JoeFairlane1966 (not exact but close) that uses OEM new Ford emblems, drills out rivots, and preps and paints the disassembled emblems with pro grade body shop paints and procedures and glues them back together. Not cheap but premium look. I bought some 3M decal emblem 2 sided tape from auto parts store and put a few strips on new emblem edges before snapping into tailgate. The emblem in grille requires removal of grille as it is fastened with nuts and hidden with shutter assembly. Lots of video on how to take out grille. Looks scary first time you watch it but really isn't that hard but might need a second person to guide parts so nothing gets scratched. I have a new grille emblem painted the same colors as rear emblem to install, plus I plan on adding a Tremor type stripe in satin canyon copper vinyl to grille.

Added Yakima OverHaul HD Tonneau rack system and two Yakima ShowDown kayak loaders to the OEM Ford (Retrax Pro XR) bed cover. I also have the regular Yakima crossbars to use with the bed cover, but this system gets the kayaks up and over the cab and allows easier access to items in the bed.

Installed the OverHaul HD racks in the lowest setting because the ShowDown kayak loader adds enough height to put the kayaks over the cab. It was a tough call to add the extra weight of the Showdown loaders, as the kayaks could sit on the HD crossbars just fine. The whole setup is a bit marginal, as our kayaks are Hobie Outbacks, which weigh 85 lbs (hull only). The OverHaul is rated for 500 pounds on road, 300 off-road, but the ShowDown loaders are rated for 80 pounds, so I'm slightly over their limit. I'm 64 years old, so getting the kayaks on solo will be a challenge with or without the side loaders, but it is my best alternative short of a separate kayak trailer, which I do have, but want to carry them PLUS trailer our fishing boat. Definitely trying to do too much at once, but gotta have all the toys at both homes and the lake.

One caveat - these are tough to obtain - I've been trying for months and finally figured out that you can locate the regular non-tonneau Overhaul HD racks plus the tonneau conversion kit separately. The Yakima OverHaul HD Tonneau rack system is NOT available anywhere, from the manufacturer or any supplier as a single unit. I originally bought a non-tonneau unit from REI and found it would not fit (duh), returned it, kept trying to find the tonneau-specific version, and then about a month ago the conversion kits started showing up in searches, so I was able to order both, and it worked - ended up with a bunch of extra useless parts for use without a tonneau, but it is a great system, very sturdy, and makes great use of the Retrax Pro XR retractable cover's T-slot system.

Removed a mouse nest from underneath my hood, right next to my battery. It was not there 10 days earlier (because I had the hood open and would have seen it). But we had a few days of "cold" (for north Louisiana) weather, enough I guess it was looking for a warm space and chewed through my windshield washer fluid line. From the top, I don't see any other damage, but I need to take a closer look. (frustrating for a 3 month old truck and my first ever brand new truck).

Today I installed a tempered glass screen protector on the center screen. It’s only a matter of time before my dog whips a toy in that direction, or a car wash person uses some grimy, scratchy towel to wipe things down. Better safe than sorry.

Disabled the horn when you get out with the ignition on, enabled parking lights with DRLs so the tail lights are also on with the DRLs, and changed the flash to pass for the turn signals to be 5 blinks from 3.
