I did the same on my RCSB.Finished sound deadening all 4 doors, both inner and outer skins, plus block-off plates. Doors have a satisfying "thunk" when closing them, not to mention much improved sound.
That looks good. I think we had similar ideas.Didnβt do it today but this was the last thing I did. A nice little touch.![]()

How do you like them so far. I was reading reviews on Amazon and some people said they stick out a little further than stock and also some people complained they didn't stay on.That looks good. I think we had similar ideas.

They do stick out a bit farther than stock which I did not like during the initial installation. Now I donβt even notice it. They are holding up just fine. No signs of them coming lose. How do you like them so far. So tried the windows today and they worked fine not an issue with any of the windows with eh deflectors installed. I'm not 100% convinced they will last overly long as the sticky glue stuff doesn't feel the strongest...but never knowHow are they working out with the window safety system ??
im thinking of getting the same ones but dealer said not a good idea because of that safety feature.
Please let me know because I like the look of them
Thanks
Well this is a tiny concern as the dive locations I visit means 40 minutes through sand dunes. BUT I figured a simple cheap belt could be used to secure it if needed. The mechanism is more a pull out then it slides down, instead of pull down so for day to day stuff it should be more than fine. It is really well made and solid, was a tiny bit fiddly to fit but nothing an extra pair of hands didn't sort in minutes. For me and my needs it's a game changerI like the step. Do you see any problems with it staying in the up position ??
I wish the Ford would put a step in the bumper like Chevy did
Same experience. One light would work for about five minutes then stop until I power cycled the truck. Sent them back and went with diodedynamics, as I should have in the first place.Replaced the brake and turn signal LEDs I got from F150LEDs once again. All other LEDs I've purchased from them have been great and they are wonderful people to work with, but these brake and turn signal LEDs are terrible quality.
