Good move! The Amp step is the way to go. Very adjustable. Two years on the truck now and not a single problem, snow and ice don't bother it in a bit!

This looks really good. I just ordered one myself - I've been climbing in and out of the bed way more than expected.

You'll be very happy with that. I got tired of climbing in and out of my truck bed as well. LOL the wife calls it my old man step. πŸ˜…

Glad to hear it! I've been told I have a "Pop Pop" truck, so might as well lean into it. In reality though, I'm in my early 30s, 6'5, and have a bad back/knees. Climbing onto the tailgate and dragging myself up was not going all that well.
I bought the truck for the express purpose of "I fit in it comfortably like I do nowhere else". Might as well use it for truck stuff while I'm at it though!

Grabbed some Raptor steps off of FB Marketplace.

I wanted sliders like I have always installed, but I had a heart to heart with myself and said no, I don't need sliders for this build, and they'd just add weight.

Correct, I attempted the acetone trick but the silver primer is so thin I went to raw plastic in multiple spots!
Thats crazy! i used fingernail polish remover on mine. maybe try that or is it too late at this point?
Anyway, I would just get some Rustoleum paint that closely matches and just spray a few coats and then some clear and call it a day. rocks are gonna hit it anyway just driving down the highway.

I just checked the owner's manual for mine and it said the 24s have auto adjusted lights. I'll have to check it out sometime.
your fogs are auto adjusted? or your headlights?

I was more worried about my fog lights because they seem pointed straight down, but there may not be anything I can do.
As the other guy mentioned, theres a white plastic nut on the back of the fog light housing to adjust them.
Your headlights should have a screw adjustment as well.

I installed auxiliary light bar @ SpaceWhiteF150 and added 3 Diode Dynamics SS3 pod lights.
dang, this is something i would love to do. where did you mount the switch for the lights? how much does something like this set someone back if you dont mind me asking?

Been running the Truxedo XPro tonneau cover and while happy with it I've been missing the benefits of having full cap so with winter coming finally pulled the trigger:

I've had varying brands on my trucks over the years and by far this is the best one yet. The latest version addressed the previous issues (freezing locks and being able to open from the inside). Plus since it isn't color matched it will be much easier to sell down the road when I upgrade the truck. Highly recommend the RSI Smartcap.

It said the headlights. I didn't see anything about adjusting the fogs.
