how many quarts of fluid did you need? I wasn't sure if the spicer cover added any capacity or not.Love the smell of gear oil in the morning π«‘. I decided to change my rear diff lube and then thought Iβll put the Ford Perfβ¦. err Spicer cover on . Used a lube locker gasket, re used the bolts, and threw some RP 75/90 in it. There were a few flakes in the oil , nothing major, and the fill magnet wasnβt too bad. Did have to drop the spare which is always fun . Cleaned 10lbs of mud off of it AGAIN while it was out. Just under 25k miles. Transfer case is next
Trying to remember now, but I think about an extra quart . Went to the bottom of the fill holehow many quarts of fluid did you need? I wasn't sure if the spicer cover added any capacity or not.
I can't find anywhere around me that has e-85. I'd love to try it out.Gas station up the road started carrying E-85, filled her up yesterday. Holy smokes she moves on ethanol.
Fuel economy suffers a bit but the increased performance is incredible. I only run e85 or 93, nothing else. 93 octane if I'm going on a trip and need the additional fuel economy/extended range, e85 if it's just the usual around town driving.I can't find anywhere around me that has e-85. If you do find some, you don't need but around e30 blend for max performance so fill up some 5g cans to make its discovery useful. Next fill just dump in 10g of e85 w/ the rest regular e10 gas. There's a BP near me that has it and I use it to blend in for max performance on the PB.I can't find anywhere around me that has e-85. I'd love to try it out.
Yup, 12:1 is a nutso high compression ratio for 87 octane. I know it CAN be run due to the DI, but the 5.0 does not like it. 87 feels like a dog if you ever fill it with shit gas after premium. Itβs very happy on the corn, I am ecstatic this station started carrying it. There was NOWHERE local to me with it until now.Fuel economy suffers a bit but the increased performance is incredible. Finally got my ambient lighting installed in the cup holders & media bin, as well as the light for the glove box.
I might try installing a blue one in the glove box though, as I don't care for the yellow light.
This is great. Do you have a parts list or anything? Easy for a noob? lolIt was easy to cutout the opening with a new blade on my box cutters. Cut it smaller and slowly remove material until it's a perfect fit. I drew a template to follow for the rough cut, then did the final cuts.
