Love it, dude! Those blocks should be an add-on, not the stock option. I'm scheduled to get the Ford Performance Lowering Kit installed on Monday. Stoked about the new stance and potential performance all with a warranty.
Thanks! Ultimately the ford performance lowering kit is the direction I'm going to go. Curious how much is the dealer charging for installation. We're going to need pics.

Block removal is an interim solution and really hope it doesn't mess with the warranty.

I did my first today as well on my 5.0, except it’s got 30k miles. 5 qts got it to the lower hole when refilling, but that’s without starting it. 7qts (with starting and resting) was right about half way between the holes. 7.75 was just above the top hole.

5500 miles ago ford over filled it by about .5-1 qt (from what I can tell after adding 7.75 qts this time). It was down to just above the lower hole. By my estimates, that’s about 2.5 qts of burn in 5,500 miles.

No real useful reason other than it's a cheap sub $40 modification to make it my own. This forum exists for various reasons and thinking of new ways to spend your hard earned coin on useless mods is one of them.

This forum also exists to create a safe space for other members to question how and why other members spend their hard earned money. 😏

Cheers, gents! 🍻
Usually people try and smoke them / obscure them. I could see IR blasters for dazzling cameras.

I keep trying to get ______ as a vanity plate but the state keeps telling me it's alphanumeric only. They refuse to accept my argument that their website requires special characters for a password so it should be good enough for my tag too. Oh well

Looks good buddy, it definitely adds a little extra. Mine has faded slightly since I did it around a year ago. 👊🏽
Interesting, thanks. I searched for the sharpie oil pens when I found your post and came across some graffiti sub on reddit funny enough. Most of them were saying the same thing and preferred other rattle cans for their longevity. This was a quick and easy solution for sure though.

What I'd love is some matching Powerboost emblems on the doors. Thought about plastidipping them and then using these pens on that... but they'd probably fare worse on the exterior. I'm probably not going to spend the time figuring it out, but a cool thought anyway.

You're better off removing the engine cover. It just keeps heat where you don't want it. Ford has deleted them.

So I'm a little late in finding this thread. Time to play catch up!

Things I've installed:
- BuiltRight Stubby Antenna
- Ecarzo Center Console Organizer
- Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks
- Added an OEM bed divider
- Ford Performance hitch over

Things I'm waiting to install:
- OEM tailgate seal kit
- OEM underseat storage box
- Bosch Icon wipers
- BuiltRight Industries rear seat release

Things I found the previous owner installed in the 422 miles he owned the truck:
- Rough Country N3 2in Front Level
- OEM wheel Liners
- OEM window visors (now removed)

I thought about adding the AMP rear bed step, but it's pricey. Might have to wait on that.

Welcome!

Curious what happened in 422 miles... That's crazy.
