You don’t need to travel. Just find a local dealer willing to do a courtesy delivery. I ordered from Chapman Ford in PA and I’ll be taking delivery of my F150 at the dealership 4 miles from my house for just a $500 CD fee. Thanks but i’m not interested in traveling.
How far are you from Chapman? You don’t need to travel. Just find a local dealer willing to do a courtesy delivery. I ordered from Chapman Ford in PA and I’ll be taking delivery of my F150 at the dealership 4 miles from my house for just a $500 CD fee.
@UGADawg96 is correct. These dealers appear to be the "real deal". The trade-off against price is wait time to take delivery. However with dealer stocks so low currently, the dealer lots may not have the truck you want available. So you have to give up an option or set of options that you really want (need) for your vehicle - but you can get the truck today and pay MSRP or MSRP+.
Staying on the cost equation a minute - A one-way airline ticket to Des Moines, IA (Granger Ford) is probably $200-$400 depending on when you buy it. Three nights in a hotel room $375. Three tanks of gas $270 (30 gal x 3 x $3/gal). Spend $1,000 to save $7,000 - $9,000 on the truck price.
We need more @UGADawg96 humor - makes me laugh everytime.
How did you go about doing this? I was looking at getting mine shipped from Granger to NM, and it was 1500-2000 for these carriers. You don’t need to travel. MSRP - $78,875
Paid - $73,200 less whatever incentives are in place at delivery. Expecting to pay around $70k plus TT&L
