My Dad's 22 year old Regal GS. Only 45000 miles. It's been sitting so long the bearing and the coupler in the supercharger went bad. Took the belt off and it runs fine.
Man, I had the Pontiac version of this, a 1997 Grand Prix GTP. I loved that car. I'd still be driving it today if it hadn't got totaled in 2008. I still shop these on cars.com and various other places, thinking I'd love it as a cheap daily driver to rack up miles in, but they are so old now that most have over 200k miles on them and have been hooptied-out. That supercharged 3.8L V6 was great for a four door sedan, and got 30 mpg all day long on the highway.

If you ever want to sell that low mile GS let me know.

So mostly you just stare at it lovingly.

Anyone lock in deal with deposit on new F150 and still get to drive the trade in until their new truck arrives?

Not me and doubt any dealer will do that unless they give you crap for your trade.

Mine did and they gave me more for trade than I figured and beat my lower range I was planning on paying for new truck. I just have to keep it under 40k and in same shape. Has 34k on it now. They also told me if I get to 40k they would give me a loaner to drive until new truck arrives.

I did that in 2018 when I traded in my 2013. I don’t even discuss the price of the new truck till I get a fair price for my trade in. Once I get a good agreed upon price for my trade in, I tell them I have X Plan. They kind of get upset but I just tell them I’m not going to buy a new one unless I get a good price on the trade. They’re still able to make profit on the trade. Just go to their website and see what they’re selling a compatible vehicle for.

I’ve bought a lot of new vehicles from them over the years which I’m sure helps.

Yep trade in can be important and I also wanted an agreed upon value before putting down deposit on new truck.

Long tale of my order,

I planned to order a ‘21 in October & a friend wanted to but my current F-150. GF hit a deer & totaled out my ‘17 Explorer Sport. Had to delay selling him my truck until we got another car. My dealer located a ‘20 Explorer ST to replace that.

Sold my 2010 Lariat & ordered my 2021 right away (Beginning of November)

My Raptor is parked for the winter because of the ridiculous amounts of road salt used around here. Driving my F-350 plow truck for now until the new F-150 arrives. I didn’t think it would take this long haha

Well at least things seem to be moving at a much better pace now.

Good luck with your order!
