So, after taking the family to clean up the deer blind, and let the kiddo do a little squirrel hunting. Well, I managed to get my deer, albeit out of season. Had about a 100lb doe suicide into my truck last night. She hit the right front tire, thank God for the +1's, then bounced down the side. Very minor dent, debating if it's even worse fixing. 2022 long term truck. Thoughts?

You're going to get both camps of responses, I'll stand in the middle.

It's a truck, doing truck stuff. No exposed metal, very minor. There will be more. Enjoy the truck.

It's a new truck, and repairing that would be a minor expense. Get it fixed and keep it new as long as you can! Enjoy the truck.

Does that help? 😁

I'd get the scuff out and then just enjoy the beauty mark. It's a truck!

Couldn’t find it. Ran off into a soy bean field at night.
Ah okay. When you said suicided I guessed it died. Bummer.
Some deer jerky and smokies might've helped deal with the damage, haha.

I would get a quote from a PDR shop. Sometimes it's not as much as you would think if paintless repair is possible (hard to tell from the pics). I would not use insurance if it would cause my rate to go up.

Yea. Been looking at body shop reviews off and on at work today. The paint is fine, not a crease in the door either.

PDR for sure - the interior door panels come off super easy giving great access to the inside of the panel.

It's not much of a blemish, but where do you draw the line if you don't have it fixed? After 3 or 4 of them, it looks like a beat up heap. A couple hundred and it'll look brand new again.

Maybe a DIY attempt like this might be worth a try?

I suspect that your deductible may be more than the repair cost. Regardless, it doesn't cost anything to get a quote on it. Well, not around here at least.

i have OCD
so fix it is a yes for me
however its only your decision.

PDR is easy and you can do it at home with little practice if the dent isnt real bad.
i fixed a door ding in my rear door a few month back,
