You’re not wrong for your “rant” as they should definitely take better care of customers vehicles. I just had a similar situation but mines was at the dealership for my Whipple Gen 6 stage 1 install and for $4K you’d think they’d at least wash my truck afterwards.

I really don’t see how some people can blame the dealership for not installing the revised part. How was the dealership supposed to know that? That is all on Whipple parts and labor should be on Whipple.

The rental car you should’ve known about upfront. The dealership should not have had to or should be expected to cover the rental car. This is not a Ford warranty issue. This is a Whipple issue

Not the boot prints and the grease prints and lack of paper floor mats that’s bullshit. That right there really shows you the competency, integrity, and care that this dealership actually has for their work and their customers. If they can’t take care of the small things, those little things that will keep a customer happy and will protect their investment, how can you trust the large major expensive jobs?

Over the phone they said since I was so far away from the dealer they would take care of the rental then backpedaled at the time of pick up , Verbal got me nowhere.

I was a tech for years and you (the customer) never knew I was in the vehicle - Shame on them.

I'm just glad the truck didn't burn down and I'm happy to have it back.
