Brand new truck, less than 800 miles on it. I pulled the rear seat down to unplug and hopefully reset my TCU and found rusted seat assemblies. This can’t be normal or ok. Anyone else notice it?

My google-fu says yes this is normal in so much as it has been going on for many years.

The fan boys will be along shortly to shame you for bringing up the unacceptable rust.

Yeah Idk how mine looked when new, but every Ford I've ever had tends to rust the seat base and seatbelt parts. Idk why even a basic stainless isn't the norm for most of this crap. The frames should especially be protected from corrosion and its 2023 and we just aren't getting it yet.
