I love my 2022 Lariat and with everything going on the past year feel lucky to have Bluecruise, heated wheel, and even park assist that I'll likely never use. The interior is a huge upgrade and was the main reason I gave up my 2020. It didn't hurt that after 2 years of use I was able to sell it for nearly what I paid new.

But looking at 2020's owned by others at work and old pics of my 2020 I think that objectively the previous generation was a more handsome truck. Part of it is the boring Lariat Sport grille Ford uses I suppose...or maybe I'm a chrome guy and don't know it.

Absolutely not in anyway. The 14th Gen F150 IMO is the best looking 1/2 ton truck followed very very closely by the Sierra. Heck they could be tied but until the 13th Gen, Sierras were the best looking. I only like how the 13th Gen looks in RCSB and lowered. That's it.

Again....just opinions here.

I had a 2020 white/chrome also. When I first saw the 2021 redesign, I thought the same thing. After it grew on me, I like the 14th gen better interior and exterior.

I hate the 18-20, the 15-17 is the second best looking behind the 21+, IMO. The best looking 18-20 was the STX.

what really changed the exterior appearance on the sport pack for me was putting the copper 3M stripe across the center bar on the grille. The only thing I don’t like about the 21+ is the wheels that you and I both have

IMHO...

- Headlight output is obviously an upgrade on 14th gen, but the 13th gen headlights and tail lights had a more interesting shape, at least along the outer edges (toward the side of the truck).

- 14th gen side profile is a bit more handsome with the rounded belt line vs. sharp crease of the 13th gen.

- Certain Sierra models are the best looking trucks out there. The Denali has way too much chrome. But then again, GMC has those strange ultra-flush front bumpers...

- Ram is pretty close to perfect inside and out.

- I like my truck and think it looks sporty, but the grille just looks cheap, and I don't think it's as cohesive of a design as the other trucks.

I have to say i feel in love with the F150 all over again when the 2018-2020 came out.
To me that was nicest exterior but obviously this is all subjective. My biggest gripe with the Lariat sport grille is its boring! They needed to color match something to make it stand out.

I prefer nearly everything about the 14th gen version over the 13th gen. In particular, I like the new grill MUCH better than the previous generation--I don't really care for the way that the older headlights wrap around the grill.

I never had a 13th gen truck, so I can't speak to how the interiors differ, but I've seen plenty of them driving by. I always note when I see a 14th gen, because it looks so much better (to me).

12th Gen all the way. I'd buy that truck brand new. 18-20 was not my taste... I made a poll on "have F150s gotten too bulky?". Vast majority said 'Absolutely not', but IMO, the 14th Gen is really unproportional - that is, you can't fit a tire that matches the truck the without a 4" lift. A truck is no longer a truck I.E. the current sticker price for just something with leather seats is absurd (demand aside, I still cant justify the cost of my truck).

The price gap between models has become insignificant - they've pigeon-holed you into selling a kidney for basic features. "At that price for an XLT I may as well get a King Ranch..." Furthermore, you're even a trip to CoinStar away from getting into an F250 now from a basic 150... totally fuct

My 2013 was spacious, lots of people bigger than me, but the 2022 interior is huge.. cool, but you could slap a pair of 33's and spacer pucks on a 12th gen and it was sharp. These new trucks across the board have gotten too top heavy and unproportional.

I gotta say I think the 13 Gen trucks exterior is a better looking truck. The 14 Gen Grille and wheel packages are terrible IMHO. Not sure but the 14 gen has way too much rake. Interior as we all know is much improved

14 > 13, IMO. Obviously biased as I have a 14, but I think the biggest factors for me:

- shark gill side badge / vent
- hood shape
- tail lights
- lower valence / bumper is nicer looking + better LED fog design
- rocker panels - the way it is no longer just a straight line, it dips as it moves towards the wheels

The only 13th gen I would say looks better is the Sport package. Something about this one just speaks to me. Other than this one, the 14'th gen is much better looking.
