I have a 2022 f150 xl. It came with a 6 speaker setup but I want to add the seventh speaker in the center dash. My question is can I buy the dash parts that will hold the speaker? And is there a speaker plug already there or will I have to tap in to the wires coming out of the head unit?

Yes, The plug is there and its wired, at least it was in 21. You just need to program the ACM

THe parts are available a note the speaker is included with the panel if you buy it from ford.

May I ask why you want to add it?

Get a proper DSP, it can fill that void, make it probably easier than trying to install and turn on the center channel.

I actually disconnected my center channel, and I believe several others have done the same. It might add something to the non B&O system, but it doesn't seem to do much for the base B&O and creates a muddled sound stage.
