I have a 2022 power boost. There has always been a slight vibration that makes a noise behind or in the vicinity of the glove box. I noticed it most often right after I start up, and especially when the wheel is turned to the left. Has anyone experienced this?

Couple things, check that your cabin filter access door is fully seated. Otherwise I did see one post from someone chasing a noise on passenger side. He put a small slice of cardboard between the right edge of the dash and the base of the A pillar interior plastic trim right by the windshield which stopped it. Worth a try to ID source of sound.

Thanks for that response. I will definitely check the cabin air filter door. I also saw the a pillar issue that someone had. Unfortunately that didn't fix it, the vibration seems to be lower and further behind the glovebox. I appreciate the help.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

I was about to take my 2023 in for that noise. Around 800 to 1100 rpm range. mine is so loud.

My appointment with the Ford dealer is tomorrow. I will let you know what I find out. I can at least reliably tell them that it always happens at 900 RPM and I can pinpoint exactly where it is. I would like to think that since a few of us are having the same issue, that it should be identifiable and fixable.

I had something similar and so far placing some notecards between the dash and the A-Pillar has knocked it out.

Just need to figure out how to permanently fix.

There is something else behind the sync system or maybe behind the glove box on big, sudden thuds, but the near constant noise on anything less than smooth pavement is gone.

I have an annoying rattle that comes and goes from the passenger side on the right side of the glovebox. I poked around the area one day and noticed a side panel that looked like it was not clipped in all the way. I gave it a push, it clicked loudly and when I pushed on the back, where the panel goes under the weather seal of the door, it made a tapping sound. Last weekend I did a little test. Went for a drive and had the rattle. Went home, pulled off the side panel with the vent on it, went for another drive, and the rattle was gone. Went home, put the panel back on, drove... rattle returned. Haven't decided how I'm going to try to address it yet.

Of course, this particular source of rattle could be unique to my truck but I thought I'd share just in case it helps someone else out.

I had a noise, that wasn't present at startup, but would always show up a few miles or so down the road. Literally almost 10-15 into any drive, you could set your watch by it. Mine seemed to be coming from behind the steering wheel.

Dealer confirmed it, pulled apart the dash and found a bolt not tightened all the way by the 12 inch screen. Did not fix it. Turned out a tie rod end wasn't properly tightened from the factory and would wiggle its way out of place after a while, and settle back in later on, probably on approach into the driveway. They had to replace the whole tie rod, because the threads were all balled up and they couldn't tighten it.

Long story short, replacing the tie rod fixed the noise.

For my truck that rattle is the mirror bolt covers on the doors. Driver's side more than passenger side. Felt tape worked for a while but they're back now. Thinking I may do some thick double sided tape with felt on it this time.

Update for you all. This isn't going great. My local dealer has had my truck for two weeks. They found the source of the rattle and say a part is failing. I have an ESP, but Ford is dragging its feet to approve the fix. I only took the truck in because a ford rep reached out on this post and told me to! Now when I reached back out, they said I just need to wait. Two weeks seems too long

I kinda suspect I may have a noise here as well with that vent panel. I haven't tackled my A-Pillar noise (i'm not even 100% certain my issue is the A-Pillar)... been too cold for me to want to go work on it.

I'll keep an eye on your posts as I'd like to hear what happens.
