Being that the 14th gen has been out for a minute now, has anybody found a good and safe way to permanently disable the V4 mode??
I freaking hate when it kicks into V4 mode because my truck just sounds like absolute crap.

Can you actually hear it? Or is it so subtle you don’t even notice?

I can hear it with the stock exhaust, it kind of sounds like when you back off the throttle on an old 2-stroke and it bogs out

I can't tell it at all with my stock 5.0. Doesn't bother me since I can't hear a difference.

So tested out Sport Mode, it turns off the auto-start stop. Normally I just jump in and drive, the truck is kept in eco or normal mode, I have to always push the start stop button. When i turned it to sport mode the off light on the start stop button came on. Also noticed waaaaay better throttle response, I normally have my speedform throttle controller at 1.7 had to turn it down to 1.4 was too sensitive for my tastes. Did notice a difference in tone, acceleration sounded the same, deceleration and maintaining speed the tone was more of a v8 rumble in Sport Mode, it definitely turned off the Displacement on Demand crap. Think i'll keep it in sport mode from here on out :)
