Does anyone know if I can swap just the outer bezel with the upfitter switches onto my overhead console? I ask because I have the moonroof and rear slider and this one only has the rear slider.
Yes it’s possible. It will require use of an exacto knife but it absolutely can be done. I did it with mine and save $150 on the console itself by buying with less options.
It’s pretty simple. The parts mainly come apart with screws. Then you’ll find about 10 or so spots that are plastic melted rivet like connections. You’ll just cut those with a sharp razor and you can pull the whole panel out. There are portions that hold it back in with screws. I went an extra mile and used some super glue in some area but it’s not necessary.
