Retired and not looking. The wife is looking for me.
I have done that before on a tour of the 10 top restaurants in the South. Every evening I would bang out a paragraph or two or three or......

Thoroughly enjoyed doing it and my friends were happy to get it.

I bought a 3.5' ceramic alligator from the Middleton plantation. Of course I named him Middleton, strapped him into the rear seat (in the email) and included his observations on the trip as well. He was definitely observing different things than we were. It was quite fun and helped us document the trip as well.

Hope you included Alaska. I think there is a ferry to Pearl Harbor leaving out of Pier 13 in Long Beach as well.

This coming weekend I shall begin a two year trip around America in my 2021 KR 3.5EB, and I intend to document that here. As a remote worker I am not bound to any one location, so I am going to use that flexibility to visit a variety of points of interest. First though, I'm headed to Florida to escape the winter! To that end I've bought a toy hauler and equipped it with solar and starlink. Just got done weighing in with my proposed full weight; came in right on the money.

Failed to weigh the truck prior to the lift/wheels/tires however it weighed 6,260 after. With the trailer fully loaded, I managed to hit 7100 truck weight on a GVWR of 7050 with a tongue weight of 785 (measured using a weigh safe hitch.) Front axle is over by 20lbs while the rear axle has hundreds of pounds to spare. Trailer weighed 6420; 13,520 combined. Trailer GVWR is 7500.

Had a guy out of California build a motorcycle rack that works off the D-rings in the floor of the trailer; real nice piece. Got that from beastracks.com. Guy's name is Richard and you can call him with measurements and he'll tailor weld one to your situation and he'll get it out to you quickly.

My trailer is an "off-road" model with a lift and mud terrains which made the entry ramp particularly steep so I bought an aluminum ramp from that website.

Have 1600 watts of solar panels and the EcoFlow Delta Pro 3 that has 4000 watts of storage. In testing, estimate my daily power usage (laptop, monitor, hungry Starlink satellite, 2 cups coffee) at 2,500 watts, so should be good even with a modest 2 hours of sun each day.

Superlift 6" lift kit, 22x10" -24 offset American Forces wrapped in metric LT325/50/22 (35x13.50) Nitto recon grapplers, ReadyLift air springs, weigh safe middleweight weight distribution hitch with 8500 bars and a 6" drop. Starting mileage is 35,120.

Awesome setup and bike. Just curious what your job is that lets you be able to go on this adventure?

Be safe. Florida traffic is some of the worst. If you make it to SW Florida give me a holler and we can take a ride.

Safe travels!

You will want to lock the back end of you motorcycle down. Are you planning to use the rear D rings to secure the back wheel?

HA and I was actually "stuck" in this photo; I believe if I had gone to spinning them I could have gotten on up the hill but didn't want to trash the yard so we pulled it the rest of the way. With the 2 inches of wheel poke it covered the truck once I hit pavement.

I've had now 4 people mention that and I'm almost thinking not to, as you rarely get to prove 4 people wrong at once

I'm a software engineer, at least until space man trashes my career..

Well…..I guess that’s what I get for not reading the entire thread.
I read your post, then skimmed the replies.

Safe travels…….just avoid the potholes and speed bumps if you don’t lock the rear down!
