This is my first ever "build thread" of any kind. Haha maybe it will help me keep track of things.

I wanted a 14Gen when they were announced and finally pulled the trigger after finding out about the extra $3500 incentive for converting from a 2021 to a 2022.
Ordered through Granger at 3% under invoice. Local area dealers wanted anything from MSRP to $5000 over MSRP.
Also avoided 3 different price increases during the 7 month wait.
So it ended up being $13,2xx under MSRP which includes $5000 in Ford incentives plus 0% for 36 months.

So if you do some research, and also trigger some incentives, you can get a deal on these trucks.

9/27/21 ordered 2021 model
10/17/21 switch to 2022 model
1/13/22 VIN received
3/23/22 built
4/9/22 shipped
4/22/22 delivered to dealer
5/6/22 picked up

Plans include decent sound system in the future

Awesome truck, looks so good with the dome hood and BAP grill

I’m curious how it would have looked with stock wheels and the bigger tires

Thank you. I thought about that also but have had my eyes on these other Ford wheels for quite a while. And it’s hard for me to leave anything stock

Door chime disable (works)

Hit a grand on the odometer yesterday. Was still on it’s second tank of gas. MPGs not good yet because of excessive idling playing with settings and introducing it to everyone.

Tried to enable Glare Free Lighting the other day but had issues writing to the IPMA module.
Contacted FORScan support and they sent me a new test version of FORScan.
Got it all configured yesterday and took it last night for a little cruise to confirm.
This is probably my favorite mod of any vehicle I've ever had.

Great looking truck. I love those ford performance wheels. Perfect addition to the BAP.

Thanks. Yeah I always loved those factory wheels on the older gen trucks. When I saw that Ford Performance made the black ones, I stopped researching other wheels.

So when I pulled into work this morning, I noticed that my mileage was very fitting for the day….

Very Nice! I have a Lariat 502A SCREW 4x4 PB with the BAP coming from Granger. Build week 8/8 so far. I see you have the black power steps. How are you liking those power running boards and do they feel stable and strong if you step on the end to look in the front section of the bed.

Thanks. Yeah I love the power steps and they do seem very sturdy even on the end. Although I was surprised at how loud they are. Nothing crazy but definitely noticeable.

Love everything about the truck. I have an XL in carbonized gray, I'd like to make it look similar to yours. Those wheels are great, but I am hesitant to put on 20's as I've heard it negatively affects gas mileage and ride quality is worse compared to 18s. Is that true?

Thanks. 20’s won’t hurt at all. It’s when you add heavier tires than the factory tires when it kills your gas mileage. And lifting the suspension will not help either
