Anyone ever cut the stock pipe so it turns down just past the axle? I saw some aftermarket flow masters done this way on AM. I kinda like the look, but wonder if that increases drone or CO in the cab? It basically takes the exhaust out of sight. Not big on the L pipe look probably because it comes so far down past the bed.

Was thinking of doing this due to the tailpipe hitting or dragging on rocks while offroad, and also reducing exhaust residue on the lower bedside

Yeah exactly. I might just do it. I'm sure it can be reattached somehow if it doesn't turn out as expected. I just don't want to hear that buzzy V6, but I guess its not like I'm removing the muffler.
