I wonder if this is the reason some PB owners are experiencing a "thunk" sound during shifting... Vehicle is still learning and tweaking transmission quality.

This happened on my truck.

Coincidentally, my truck has 24k miles and has had a missfire or transmission shutter since 5k miles. It is getting worse, and I can’t Help but think the MIL is connected to the shutter/misfire issues.

If the truck is traveling 50 and the adaptive cruise is re-engaged to accelerate to 70 MPH, and if the trans stays in 9th or 10th gear, you will feel a steady RPM speed miss until the RPM reaches 2500 or so. If you are going up hill at 50-60 and letting the adaptive cruise drive, it does it the entire time. It will cause a vibration that has raddled a box of glasses more than any f-150 ever should.

I have brought the truck to Ford and they reprogrammed the truck for me. I had to drive 80 miles back from the dealership with no problems or lights, but then about 4 engine cycles later some time the next day, the light came back on.

I have cleared the MIL multiple times since, and now it will come back on within 50 miles later.

Can someone that works at Ford please tell me what P2C23 is related to “part wise” so I can buy the dang thing and change it myself.

I honestly don’t have 8 days to drop my truck off to get the MIL to go away. Pretty please help me.

I just had my truck in for the MIL. Within 15 miles of picking it up, it’s back on. Bummer

Because the MIL came back before I made it home from the dealership, I made another appointment and went back in:

Since the 2nd appointment, the MIL came back plus I now have a Trailer Brake Module Fault, Powertrain Malfunction/Reduced Power, and Pre-Collision Assist Not Available. She's rolling like a turd at the moment.

So has anyone figured out what part is the issue with regard to this TSB. I know it has to do with the heat exchanger bypass valve position, but on what heat exchanger.

service lines are so long, at this point, if It isnt expensive I’d be willing to just change the part myself just to get rid of the light.
