yes I get that after reading the whole thread. It sure would be nice if Ford can give you the option for a floating neutral.

Yes, it wouldn't be too hard to add a relay to connect/disconnect the neutral based on a switch or even a CANBUS signal, but I'm sure there is some legal liability or electrical code that makes the actual implementation much more complicated.
