Can I ask what’s the X-Plan?

The Ford A/Z/X plan is basically employee pricing (A & Z plans) and special member pricing (X plan).

At a participating dealer, you can get a vehicle for .4% over the invoice price. This is usually a few thousand dollars off MSRP depending on the vehicle.

There are several ways to get access to the Ford X-Plan. You can join the Mustang Club of America ($25 a year), or join the Experimental Aircraft Association (about $40 a year, i think). Those are the two easiest ways unless you want to purchase Ford stock shares.

Once you are a member of those, you will get a login to the Ford A/Z/X plan website where you can use the Build & Price tool and see X-plan pricing on a vehicle you're interested in.

Actually X-Plan is invoice - 0.4% (not plus) and then add admin fee of $275. So if your vehicle costs more than $68,750 then X-Plan is below invoice.

Depending what you do for work your company may be part of X-Plan. I work for a large utility company and they are part of X-Plan. Because they buy so many Ford vehicles for their fleet.
I ordered on 10/14 and my truck was built last week, just waiting for it to be shipped, 3.5EB Lariat.

It's $25 a year and besides being able to get xplan, you can get a free bidders pass for any Mecum Auto Auction. MCA gives you the code and the link to get your xplan pin number.

I am from Ontario Canada I ordered a 2021 Lariat on December 8th 2020 I have not received my VIN # yet. Is there any other Ontario residents that ordered a 2021 F150? How long after your order was placed did you receive your VIN # from your dealer? Please let me know.

It’s a set price which is 0.4%over invoice and doc fees of no more than $100..

Is that for a US order or also available for a Canadian order?

I ordered my 2021 Lariat 502A package in Rapid Red have not received a VIN# from dealer yet?

I ordered Lariat 6.5' box - Rapid Red on 1/7. Received my VIN on 1/30. Nothing else has changed.

At 88,655 sticker on a SD it is 60.62 under invoice so if you live in an area that has large DOC fees or sells above invoice it is a great way to save, just remember it is up to the dealership to be a part of the plan so if they say no it is their option...

.4% under invoice +$275 Admin fee which normally means its a hair over invoice. Of course a lot of us are ordering $70,000+ trucks so .04% is $280+ which means we're getting it for a hair under invoice lol. And that guaranteed doc fee is awesome.

I ordered a 4x4 super cab f150 8' bed with heavy duty payload and max trailer tow packages with 40/console/40 seats and xlt 301a mid package on october 10th. I just got an update that it was built today and scheduled for delivery to my local dealership in 12 days, february 17th.

Hey, we're almost twins. I ordered a Lariat 12/9/2020 and have not received a VIN yet. I'm in Southern California though and I'm pretty sure that the problem is the dealership I chose.

Last I saw, there were only 3 of these
2 Red ones and a Blue one
Red ones going to Canada and either New York or New Hampshire ???
The blue one going to Texas---mine
I did not get the towing package or the payload package---but I got the HDPP wheels
I just cannot see where any of the towing packages add anything except glitter.

But that is too many years in a Ranger, that can't do anything but carry a few cinderblocks or my 98 Chev k1500 with everything heavy duty (Air, tilt Cruise 5spd 5.7--nothing else)

This new one will most likely be my last new car---the Ranger was the second, and I still have the 79 Chev I bought new when I was 18
