Thank you I appreciate it!Nice new ride, as well as the fleet!
I appreciate it buddy! What an amazing power trainWelcome to the 5.0 club! Good to see you around these parts!
I agree. I loved the black truck but man these 5.0’s with the 10 speed get on it. Especially in sport mode. I was contemplating a tune but I really don’t think it’s necessary.Man you aren't kidding. I still loved that black '05 you had. Sounded awesome too with that Roush exhaust and the headers. That is the biggest downfall of the 11th generation. Incredible looking vehicles, I still think interior and exterior have held up very well design-wise and quality wise. But that powertrain is so lethargic. That four speed just holds it back so much.
My father bought a new C10 in 1957 for his business. It is truly insane too look back at trucks from that era and see what you used to get versus today. I grew up riding in an 84 c20 and It had nothing like the base model trucks of today have haha. I love the V8, smooth and very powerful and sounds awesome even stock. The fuel mileage is incredible paired With the 10 speed.
I'm sure with the 8-ft bed that thing drives wonderful. Nice long wheelbase
I would agree. My other vehicles are tuned due to that early drive by wire lag and a little bit more pep. But I don't think these things need it at least from how I drive. It's really impressive out of the box.I agree. I loved the black truck but man these 5.0’s with the 10 speed get on it. Especially in sport mode. That would have been neat I've seen people share similar stories about picking up from the factory way back in the day. What a feeling that must have been.My father bought a new C10 in 1957 for his business.
Back then you could buy and pick up from the factory.
He flew out in October to dive back to CA.
A heater was optional! He didn't get that option.
Very cold trip back.
Trucks didn't become more than a working man's tool until mid 60s. Campers became a big thing and manufactures started offering ever increasing options.
