I saw this same behaviour on my Truck. Also mine was getting put in deep sleep mode. Almost as if the download was so big it was taking to long to download and draining the battery as it was trying to finish.

I kept checking the OTA status in the Dev Tools from the ford dashboard on my computer, and it had a status of "acquiring software" or something like that for about 2 weeks.

I can't recall if I had the Auto Updates toggled off when I got itdownloaded and installed 3.5.3. But might be worth turning off for a couple days and see what happends. From the info about that toggle is only for updates that require the truck to be disabled/left alone while it updates.

My OTA 3.5.3 had just expired, but a day later it finished and did the update finally. And a few days later I got 3.5.4.

My truck successfully downloaded 3.5.3 today! I think it was stuck for about one week.

I was driving down the road and the screen powered off and back on, 3.5.3 was there.

Cell service was good, definitely not near any AT&T towers. Wasn't home on WiFi.

Automatic updates were toggled on.
A schedule was set and turned on.

Every other day for one week I submitted feedback through the screen that wireless updates didn't work.

That's all I know.

Mine changed to "expired" yesterday, looks like within minutes of the two week mark from when it got sent to me. I got no notification or update from the truck or FordPass app. Not sure what happens next. Bummer!

If your truck follows the current trend, you'll get it resent within the next few days.

I've still seen nothing since mine failed back on 2/1 (I think it was). The website inspector is acting weird today...can you check mine?

Had the same issue as Sallad71 & Blinky.

Kept going into Deep Sleep Mode. Got a new battery. Walked out to truck 2 different nights and saw the climate controls and screen illuminated, but nothing shown, and still no update. Currently on a schedule, with auto updates off, as it shows I am up to date. On WIFI and Cellular when away from home.

The status for my truck is blank on the website now, but nothing in the Fordpass app that the update went through either. I'll find out in another 20 minutes when I leave work to see what happened.

Still shows 3.5.3 in "update downloading" status.

I checked when I went out, I'm now in the status of "up to date" when auto updates are on and "3.5.3 pending" when auto updates are off. It has until March to apply OTA before I get another 2 day license and DIY

Last night 3.5.4 downloaded in the truck and my phone also updated Android Auto to Coolwalk.
I now have full screen Google Maps. So I'm officially out of this boat. I hope all you folks stuck in limbo land are able to get unstuck soon!

@pavementends It seems me an you have the same issue where our trucks are stuck in 3.5.3. limbo. Mine still says it is downloading update... I have purchase access to PTS and can see it each day...it has been updating file since Jan 27. I notice that the right side just says "update to start file download" but the times are basically logs for each time i start my truck. =/

Have you had any luck going past 3.5.3?

Looks identical to my report. No, it finally "expired". See post #64 above.

I just spoke to a tech at Ford who said this 3.5.3 update is snagging with a lot of folks. Per him, Ford is cancelling the update for pending accounts and supposedly sending out a revised update in the next week or two that should fix the issue. So, hopefully by end of February we're back on track
