There been some other people getting the wrong plastic engine cover. I think someone here got a Powerboost cover with their plain 3.5TT.

Raptors and Tremors are built on the same line, someone screwed up the cover (not the entire engine).

Or they ran out of the stack of Tremor engine covers and said 'Fuck it!' and started installing the Raptor covers to avoid stopping the assembly line.

All of those thing are possible, the factory has been cranking out trucks as fast as possible, engine cover gingerbread is likely to be be a low QC priority.

Back in the day GM would keep the line running and put Oldsmobile front ends on Pontiacs or vice versa, then fix them in the freight yards to avoid stopping the assembly line.

Ford recently started building trucks with missing modules and storing them for later. All things are possible in 2022!

Sorry, not even stickers on my truck. My Lariat is more likely to be mistaken for an XL than a Raptor...or Tremor or whatever else people obsess about.
