Hey guys,

I see on the new Bronco a featured called, "Trail Turn Assist." I also heard rumor that the Tremor might come equipped w/ it. I have a FX4 that I've lifted, mounted full-length skid plates and frankly, beat the shit out of my $60k truck. My motto, if a Tacoma can do it, I can do it (I make the exception w/ tight scrub oak runs).

Anyway, the steering radius on these trucks suck, so, when on tight switch backs, it would be VERY nice to have this "Trail Turn Assist" feature. I'm not a huge fan of 4 point turns on steep rocky terrain.

Any word on this? I've searched the Forescan thread to no avail, so maybe it's a dealership ask.

Thanks!

I wrote this in the ForScan thread, but I figured I'd put this here too:

I’ve been searching for “Trail Turn Assist” for a very long time. Just found it on a Raptor Forum.
Here’s the modules they recommend I change:

APIM 7D0-02-01 xxx7 xxxx xxxx
ABS 760-03-01 xxx1

I got it to appear on the sync page, but when I go to activate it, it says:

“This setting isn’t available right now. Please try again later.”

Thoughts on this? Would love to get this to work for a number of reasons, but biggest being we’re in the middle of winter and turning around in 4h sucks.

That tells me nothing.
Ford Trail 1-Pedal Drive Feature
Trail 1-Pedal drive is a feature that, when engaged, causes the equipped Ford vehicle’s brakes to automatically apply whenever the driver lifts off the accelerator.

How do I go about doing this? Sounds a bit sketchy. FDRS? I have a mongoose controller (Jesse - you actually helped me out of a corrupted OTA software glitch last year)

You have to load tremor and software into your abs module.

You can’t use fdrs has to be outside of that

Gotcha. So seems to be a non-starter then. Damn.

Have you ever heard of someone loading new software or installing a whole new module?

Don’t need a new module. Yes tonesto did it and had trail turn working. You can’t replace the abs module on these you have to replace the entire brake assembly.

If you are dead set on it I can help you load the firmware. Unless you have a powerboost then it’s not possible. There isn’t a tremor with a power boost option:

I’m not exactly deadset, but every winter (3x now), I find it incredibly annoying turning around in my driveway each morning after a snow. Not to mention parking. I also do a fair amount of 4wheeling in CO and tight switchbacks are a common them out here.

If it’s not crazy difficult or expensive, then yes, I’d very much like to give it a whirl.
