So has anyone actually figured out what "Convoy" means? Is it rail, or a Truck shipment?
I see my truck shipped on the 3rd March via Concoy

Convoy - normally mean by a car carrier (truck). My dealership told me even though it shows convoy - somethimes it's railed to a central location - then picked up and delivered by a truck/car carrier.

I find the entire process crazy. My window sticker always showed convoy.

I expect mine will be delivered by a truck but it's hard to say - seems I never can get the right answer on Ford's processess.

Very fustrating indeed.

Yes, an updated window sticker would show the new blend date.

My blend date never changed throughout the process- just the built date. I’m thinking the blend date was for - aligned parts on production line.

Does it seem odd that I have a delivery estimate date (3/12) but no Built or Shipped date? I got the sticker on 1/21, had a blend date of 1/30, and the status has been unchanged for almost a week now.

I have been in production since 02-03-21. Truck is built but still says in production.

Ordered 4 months ago, still no build date , I suspect 6 months to delivery for my King Ranch.

Hello everyone! I ordered a truck a few weeks ago, and the dealer is telling me they can’t get me a VIN for tracking until it’s built. When should I be able to get a VIN and start tracking? I’m obviously not getting the truck for many months, but I’d like to watch it go through production. Thanks for help!

I really don't think you will be looking at a 3-4 month wait, they are currently running better than that now.

I would bet 2 1/2 months unless some crazy out of the blue issue pops up.

I'm half full kind of guy so I'm say 2021 is going to be a waaaaaayyy better year. Also you read this site and learn what you can and your dealer will be looking to you for answers if they are not already.

Bob, a brief follow-up -
My dealer said that my truck is scheduled to be built the week of April 5th and that he expects it to arrive at the beginning of May.

Assuming that’s how it plays out, that will be 3 months from order to delivery. You had predicted 2.5 months and I had predicted about 3.5 months. As with most things in life, the truth is somewhere in the middle!

Does anyone know if Jack Cooper is the only transportation company (palsapp) that moves these trucks from the rail yard to the dealership for final delivery? I was just curious to see if there was a chance you might not see when it ships from the rail yard because it's transported by another carrier.

I am waiting for 2021 F-150 Lariat 2.7 V6 Kodiak Brown 302A in Ontario, Canada. Was told it's going to be amongst the few truck in that beautiful color that stand out

Order placed on Boxing day, was told by the dealer it takes between 8-12 weeks to get the truck. Submitted the VIN into tracking list... Also I have the sticker. I believe the order went out on on Jan 1st, have a VIN since Jan 12 I believe , and currently according to the VIN it is "In Production", ETA March 29 2021. Is there a description as to what these statuses actually mean? Also, how reliable the ETA date is?

dealer is being lazy. They can lookup the order status and get the vin within a few weeks of order.
