I like my Gator Tri-Fold. Not too expensive and gets the job done.

I can use my whole bed with my Leer H650FM and most fold covers. For me, I was going back and forth between the Bakflip MX4 and Leer H650FM. I'm happy with my choice.
Hi. I have had the MX4 on my last 2 trucks and at the minute planning on getting one for my 2022.I've had the Bakflip MX4 my past 2 trucks. Expensive cover but did it's job well.
For my '22 I found locally a used Extang Exceed for 1/4 of the price. I prefer this over the MX4 as it's the same overall design for the most part but I like how the top is seamless, doesn't show the folds.
On my '03 Harley F150 I went with a roll up soft Truxedo Lopro QT. The HD is only a fair weather joy ride and doesn't take any abuse (except for the go pedal) and the lopro is a nice looking roll up.
My current MX4, I have had for 5 years. Had it for 3 years on my 2017 then moved it over to my 2020. No leaks to date with heavy rain, only when I’m power washing the truck do I get any water drops inside. It still looks really good and I did consider using it on my 2022 but feel my new truck needs a new coverHow is the mx4 and undercover flex holding up from y’all after a few months use?

If you had the choice of the Extang Xceed or the MX4, and they were a similar price, would you still go with the Extang? Any weight difference that you can tell between the 2?
Not a bad price. I think mine was a little more but that was In 2018. But I also got the bakbox with it.Just got an mx4 bakflip for about a july 4th sale plus 125 dollar rebate. Actually comes out to sub 800 total shipped
Does the Extang have the same option of folding to the last panel and connectingthe straps to secure it like the MX4, basically leaving the bed uncovered but not having to fold it against the window? I do prefer the clean look of the Extang to the MX4.They are both similar to one another.
I can't really say which one is the clear winner.
Yes, you can fold up with the arms against back window to essentially have the entire bed or keep the last panel down and use straps to clip.Does the Extang have the same option of folding to the last panel and connectingthe straps to secure it like the MX4, basically leaving the bed uncovered but not having to fold it against the window? Thanks, appreciate it.
Thanks!! I’ve sent an email to Extang to see what the weight is to compare with the MX4 but unless it’s a significant difference, I’ll be going with the Extang.Yes, you can fold up with the arms against back window to essentially have the entire bed or keep the last panel down and use straps to clip.
I don't see there being much of a difference. It's pretty much the same product just the Extang a little nicer aesthetically. Thanks!! I’ve sent an email to Extang to see what the weight is to compare with the MX4 but unless it’s a significant difference, I’ll be going with the Extang.
Finally got my cover installed. Love the clean look! Having had the Bakflip MX4 cover for the last 5 years, I am not disappointed with my choice. Really like the Extang Xceed. Were you able to resolve the lifting issue?Had that cover on my '17 it was top shelf. Noticed on the interstate this weekend my X4S is 'lifting" towards the front, going to have to uninstall and start over to see what I did wrong. Starting to HATE the Bak X4S.
It is much cleaner, isn't it? Plus being slightly cheaper, I think the Extang is a worthwhile alternative for someone looking at the Bakflip. Finally got my cover installed. Love the clean look!
