Every month or so my park assist sensors go off when I pull in the garage. They also go off when I'm going through a car wash (front and rears). I turn them off repeatedly (under the features > Driver Assistance section and it happened again tonight.
First, why do they keep re-enabling?
Second, is there a Forescan code to remove for good?
53yrs old and have never crashed a car... <knock on wood>... And sure as H*ll can park a car without big brother warning me.
Any suggestions, would love to hear.

<edit>
Sorry @UGADawg96 I should have been clearer.
I turn off park assist sensors here.
Repeatedly and never turn it back on....

I usually tap the button to turn them off when going through a car wash. The only time I've had the crash alert flash on the IC is when a car turns right ahead of me when the truck thinks I'm following a little too close.

I understand completely, I also can’t stand all the nanny alarms when you’re trying to back a trailer up.

it’s like you have to wait 10 seconds to clear all of the alarms and then you can go about your business

oh yeah, I agree with that. It's beyond annoying.

I turn 90% of that crap off before I leave the dealer lot. I know how to drive. All that anti collision/ lane keeping crap drives me crazy.

I agree. But mine keeps turning back on... How or why is it turning back on?

I wonder if it's turning back on after an update. I know my iPhone is back about turning stuff I have turned off back on when it has a big update.

I thought about that but my last update was September 20th. Well over a month ago.
I get a car wash probably two or three times a week. And today is when the front sensors started beeping and flashing at me when it recognized the brushes in the car wash
