My white two tone with all the chrome has a bit of a grandpa vibe
My red two tone with a bed cap has that grandpa vibe ?, yet I’ve already been pulled over and ticketed for tint on the front windows.

I'm in NC as well and just tinted the front to the darkest allowable (32% passing). The stock smoked glass on the rear doors are fine as they are for me. I also tinted my wife's 2021 CX-9 to 35% front and darker on the rear but when it's dark outside your visibility through the windows is pretty limited. NC doesn't allow windshield tint beyond the top 5 inches.

Tint newbie here. Gonna try and bump this instead of a new thread. I'll have it done somewhere not doing it myself. Is there a difference between brands? Anything I should avoid? Anything I should pay more for cause it's worth it. One of the shops by me has a ceramic that he recommended over carbon but I'm not sure on brand or if that matters.

From what the installer said and based on what I've read here I think I'll go
20% on the front windows to match the rear
70% everywhere else to keep it mostly stock looking but get some UV protection.

Another newbie question: these percentages are % of light allowed *through*, right? (the 5% guy's was the darkest I saw).

I highly recommend tinting the front windshield. F the police lolol. Bare minimum of 50% and I recommend ceramic. You will feel the difference in the summer months for sure. If you feeling really froggy do 35% ceramic.
Also gives your truck that promo look. Do it

See my post above. After researching tint and reading forums, I settled on XPEL ceramic. Highly recommend it. See whole thread I posted above.

Considering 50% on the front windows. Although it will be much lighter than the rears, I want the uv protection. If it brings the contrast down even a little between the back/front, that will be bonus.

Has anyone done the front 2 windows at 50% and can you tell any difference from factory in looks?
