Tiles on left hand side stopped working

I have a 2021 Lariat with the 12” screen and Sync 4. On the left side, smaller display, I can scroll up and down using the arrows. But the “tile” view no longer works and the icon is grayed out. I tried it while parked and while driving. Anyone I’ve any idea what’s going on and how to fix it?

the tile or card view in my truck works sometimes but most of the time it does not. I haven't noticed if mine is greyed out or not when it doesn't work.

Maybe it doesn’t work while CarPlay is on. I’ll need to check.

I've tried with and without carplay, mine is very random.
