Those Ordering Tow Mirrors -- They Are A Little Different, Maybe

When the build and price went final the photos got better. They match what you built. Well no you can get a good look at what the tow mirrors look like. They are the same but the camera or light pod is bigger. I know some were asking for photos of them.

The 2020 model did not have this large pod did it?

Doesn't bother me but curious what it is.

If you are talking about the white rectangle in the black portion, It looks about the same size as the ones on my 2017 tow mirrors. On my truck these are lights only.

Is that what the 'Chrome Skull Caps" look like? On the Lariat build, the Tow Mirrors do not show chrome, only black, although the description has 'Chrome Skull Caps". Error in B&P or rendering?

I had a 2018 I didn't think it was that large, of course I have not seen it TWO FREAK-EN MONTHS!!

It's an age thing mostly I think. Us older folks were all about chrome back in the 70s and 80s, now it has cooled off some. I still like the bling... Lol

I’m 34... and I think chrome looks classy. Sport can look nice too, but a $65k truck should have some “bling” IMO. Maybe I’m an old soul, I drove an MKZ the last few years and my 2011 is gold with a cap. Looking forward to smokes quartz and the chrome package.

Now that is my kind of style! Lol

I don't hate the other stuff and I don't like too much of the chrome but for me I need some bling.

I'm in my 50s, so not all that young. Some chrome is ok with me. I actually like the old chrome classic pickups. Just not my personal liking today. I was never a big hot rod fan either. I like it simple, I guess.

The chrome skullcap in the rendering of the 501A mid just looked weird.

Here in Loveland Colorado......The mag-cloride they put on the roads eat at any chrome on the vehicles....I'll stay with my Lariat 502a supercab with no chrome........Thanks, Terry

I cannot find any reference to a black or body color cap on the tow mirrors. There is only one part number, which is the chrome cap. I imagine that isn’t or won’t be the case long term, but as of now it may be chrome or they might come with black and chrome and be inter-changeable?. Would be terrible on the sport package.

Probably not much choice given it can’t be on the telescoping part of the mirror.. I’m sure it will disappear in time and I won’t notice it. ???
