I removed the Ecoboost from my 2016.
I'm thinking about removing the Powerboost emblems off of the doors.
So Yes or No to remove? Mybe it's my imagination but it looks crooked to me anyway.

If you end up taking them off post some pics. I was debating removing them as well but I blacked them out for the hell of it and they don't look half bad. I will try to post some pics later today of what they look like. I even blacked out the F-150 thing in the quarter panel.

If you do try to do it gently so they can be sold. I read elsewhere on the forum that a set of those new is over $100 ?

To find out for sure, measure each end from the bottom lip of the door. If crooked, tell dealer to get you new ones and you will install them. Remove crooked ones and save new ones for later....

Here is what the emblems look like blacked out. I also had the Ford emblems in the front and rear blacked out as well.

There is a company that does them down in San Diego. They take your emblems off and replace them with painted ones. They then paint your for the next vehicle. They do different color combo's as well. I had white and black on my last F-150.

Well, that is awesome. I'm sure there is a place like that in the DFW area that can hook me up. I may use your post as an example if you don't mind?

I have a rare 501A lariat (star white metallic) without the chrome package and without the sport package, so my side vents and powerboost badge were chrome. I plastidipped mine with 7-8 coats, I used one can for about $14 from autozone.

That is a nice-looking truck, sir. I don't have mine yet, but how did you get the powerboost badge off?

Sorry, meant to say I left the PB badges on, not easy to remove like the side vents. It took me 2 times to get them right, just follow this YouTube video for instructions. The PB badge is really easy because you pull it away from the rectangular badge as opposed to each letter in the video.

Thanks for the info. Quick and easy way for sure!
