Has anyone else put a tonneau cover on their F-150 and found the door on the redesigned tailgate leaks?

Yes....you can actually see right into the bed on both sides of gate...I feel like it's a small price to pay because it's a great feature...So far the regular gate never comes down.

Yup! Have PAT, a non small gap on both sides of the swing door. Generally a non issue. Got hit with 5” of rain in 24 hours a few weeks ago, just a little evidence of water in bed with backflip tonneau cover. Wonder if an aftermarket seal is or will come out to improve the seal.

I couldn’t be happier overall with the PAT. Wish the step on the bumper was a bit bigger, going up is ok, going down is kinda sketch. Jumped on Ford’s Black Friday 20% deal on a retractable step.

As stated, you can see through the gaps on the PAT. Unless resolved, even with a cover, there will be water intrusion into the bed.

I used this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085896S8R/ to weather-strip the outer and inner edges of my tailgate. I have had good results in minimizing the water getting into the bed (read: spotty drops after a thunderstorm/heavy rain) without impeding the functions of the tailgate.

(I responded to another similar thread recently with additional pictures.)
