Thought I’d do a little build list as I go with pictures for fun and to answer any questions you may have about what I’ve done. I just picked up a Black XLT Sport 4x4 Supercrew with the 5.0 couple days ago and I couldn’t be happier with it so far. Truck can’t stay stock for long. I do EVERYTHING on my vehicles myself, so I can answer any questions about the installs as well. Let’s get started.

First thing that had to be done was get that hideous license plate bracket off the front of the truck. Here in Georgia we aren’t regulated to have a front license plate.

Next up was to remove the goofy whip antenna and replace with a Ronin Factory 50 Cal Bullet Antenna.

Today I just installed all new 3m tint to the entire truck. I put on 5% on the front two windows and then added 20% over the factory tinted glass. Front two windows now read 5% and all the back windows read 7%, but with not installing anything on my windshield on this truck the light that comes through the windshield makes ALL the windows a 100% dead on match. This tint transformed the looks and the sleekness of this new body style F-150.

After all my research and phone calls, I’ve decided to keep the build a good looking daily driver and not go to wild. That being said I just ordered the 2020 Readylift 2.25 leveling Kit today. Part number 66-2215. After a lot of back and forth on the brand and tire size I finally made up my mind and I’m going to go with the Nitto Trail Grapplers in the size 35x11.50x20 and utilize these great looking factory f150 sport wheels. Level kit should be in early to middle of next week and the tires will be in at the end of next week. I’m really hoping that I will have 0 trimming or rubbing with this set up because I haven’t seen a 2021 F150 with the Grapplers in the 35x11.50 on the factory wheels yet. ?? Also hoping that there isn’t any issues with this set up with the 360 and Adaptive CC. I’ll be the guinea pig on this set setup I guess ?

Does it just snap in or is it screwed in. How easy is it to remove ?

That looks fantastic, but how is the reception? I put a shorty on my 2011 truck and the reception was HORRIBLE. I‘d really like to find something short that works!

Love it! do you have any pictures of before the tint. I need to justify to my wife why the cost of the fines will be worth it! haha! It's illegal here in Alberta to tint windows. Sure to get pulled over and fined (or they'll literally rip it off during the stop). But I love it!

Super easy to remove. Just drilled out 2 rivets and it came right off.

Thank you! I tried out the radio and it worked perfectly normal. That’s sitting in my driveway though. I’ll update if that changes while I’m on the go.

It’s illegal here too. I own a roofing company and I carry a lot of expensive toys and work equipment in my truck daily and I don’t want peeping eyes being able to see inside my trucks. Knock on wood the police keep telling me “great looking truck over the years and I’ll let you go with a warning and that a different officer may not let you off as easily ?” Doing the tint is SO easy. Just go to a good tint shop and most of them now are using programs to laser cut the tint out for a particular vehicle. I pay them $100 cash and they cut out each window for me and I installed them at home in the garage.

They were using scotch shield security series. Congratulations on your truck. I absolutely love this truck. Black badges were definitely on my to do list too.

Installed the 2020 readylift 2.25 level kit today and mounted 35x11.50s Ridge Grapplers on the factory 20” sport wheels. Absolutely 0 rubbing anywhere at full lock in both directions. 0 issues with the 360 or any other sensors. Absolutely transformed the look of this truck.

Hmm
There’s a thread here about that front plate bracket.
I have the 5.0 in mine and my front plate is mounted lower.
Just barely covers the bottom of the bumper.
A side shot of the bracket shows the bracket has small reliefs for the bumper and lower valance.
What does the side of your bracket look like?
