Temperamental Fordpass remote start....

So I cant ever get the truck to start in the garage, even if Im sitting looking at it from 10'....but can from my office clear out in the parking lot. Would someone assume its because the truck cant get signal? Is there anything to help start it in the cold garage in the mornings? Ive tried wifi, etc,,,usually end up walking out and just starting it LOL

I too notice that using my ford pass to remote start the truck is very sluggish to activate no matter where I am. I have better results stepping outside my front door and use my key fob to start the truck from approx 40ft away. My truck sits in a detached garage, usually nose in.

I don't have the keyfob start on my XL either, but I found that the truck doesn't like to remote start from the app in the morning because it is not "awake." If I just remotely unlock or lock the truck from the keyfob that seems to be enough to wake it up and then remote start from the app works the next time I try.
