Tail light misaligned?

This is not my truck. I installed my BAP/Tremor tail lights yesterday and observed that my lights didnt line up perfect. I was told by another forum member that this is a common occurence. I took these pics attached of a space white truck I saw sitting in a parking lot. This trucks lights dont line up either very well. Worse than mine.

Question is, does any of you have this issue on your tail lights closer to the middle bottom portion of the light?

agreed, but when I put my original lights back in, similar alignment
just never noticed until now.

Mine are exactly like in the top picture, but only on passenger side.

Is there a certain order in which you’re supposed to tighten the fasteners? Sometimes this can affect fitment

Haven’t received my truck yet but I’ll be checking it out to see if there’s a gap

Here are my new ones.
There is a small gap on alot of trucks. Some worse than others I'm seeing.

You can put the bottom one in while pushing the light in a tad while tightening.

I have a black truck so it’s not likely I’d notice a gap anyways. I’m gonna check my factory tails next time I look at my truck though

I played with some adhesive pads as shims for bottom screw.

on the inside bottom hole. Just used a adhesive carpet pad. Circle. Used a small screw driver to poke a hole in the shim. Then slowly screwed the bottom screw in. Didnt go all the way. Put the top one in, then moved the light in its hole until I liked how it sat.

FYI I checked mine and my factory fitment is almost identical to your first pic. I never noticed because it’s black, but there’s certainly a gap
