Paint Close-Ups for you Anti-Matter Blue lovers...

I know some pics make the colors seem 'distorted' either lighter or blacker... but in the sun, I feel these pics here are pretty darn color-accurate.

I’m not a chrome guy, but that’s a great looking truck. I wish that gray interior came on the lariat sport package.

I hereby nominate this for The Single Greatest Post in F150gen14 History!!!
This is truly inspirational. (Not kidding!)

I had previously floated the idea to my dealership's Service Manager to install the 2" Level on my pending Platy AND to buy-back the Hanooks and replace them with KO2's (awesome in snow here up north). Now I will definitely follow-through and have them replace the stock tires with 285/65's (34.5") KO2's on the stock R20's. The wheels I will replace some later date, if I can ever make up my mind.

Thank you again, @satexas. Outstanding job. Enjoy!

The Truck : 2021 Lariat 502a Powerboost, Antimatter Blue 2x4 with 6.5 bed

This thread is going to be somewhat long, so I'll break it down with various pics and specs and feedback about all the details of each major item. First, here are the 'links' to my 'addon list' that are actually ON this truck.

1. Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires ($329/ea)
275 /65 R20 126Q E1 BSW , 9" wide with a +12 offset (Stock is 275/60-20, 8.5w/+44)

2. Readylift 66-2120 Lift Kit (~500-600 parts+install)

3. RBP 94R Rims (Sexy Chrome with Black Strips, uncommon so better) ($1800)
9" wide rims with a +12 offset
https://rimzoneonline.com/catalog/p...rome-w/black-inserts-6x135-10mm/category/707/

4. Undercover Armorflex Tri-Fold Bed Cover, has line-x top and is more durable that just about anything else w/5yr warranty, works with power tailgate and doesn't really leak ($1100)

5. Prime XR Tint (Black, you want BLACK) all around, and 70% Prime XR Tint (clear) on windshield inside. Prime XR is 'the bomb' for tint in quality/durability/clear/never purples (~$600)
I tinted all windows, including rear. They put on a 'less dark' rear film to help it 'blend' in.

6. Husky Liners (front and back, $230)

Shawn got me first, and then Alex got my initial offer (October 2020) approved and took over giving me weekly updates (every Monday) plus letting me know basically how the process worked, and were a total pleasure from start to finish. I found out I had cancer in Nov, and called into cancel the truck.. but as my prognosis improved they worked to make sure I had first option to keep it, at my price, when it arrived - knowing they could make far more money if I just cancelled. They were great in the beginning giving me my order number, and eventually my VIN then kept me up with the basics as did the links TIRES & RIMS

1. Nitto Ridge Grappler Tires
($329/ea)
275 /65 R20 126Q E1 BSW , 9" wide with a +12 offset (Stock is 275/60-20, 8.5w/+44)
2. Readylift 66-2120 Lift Kit (~500-600 parts+install)
3. RBP 94R Rims (Sexy Chrome with Black Strips, uncommon so better) ($1800)
9" wide rims with a +12 offset

As listed above, my truck is a 2x4 so clearance is just a little bit different than 4x4, but not much. The setup listed above makes for a 34.75 wide setup, which is pretty much the 'max' my truck can handle with the lift on. I get the smallest amount of rubbing when I take a sharp corner really tight, and if I was to do off-roading really bumpy, I'd prolly get more. The rubbing has to do with the fact I moved the tires out (+12 offset vs factory +44) and the size (from stock 33in diameter up to 34.5).

Without the leveling kit in the front, there's no way I could have upgraded the tires.
Pictured here are two sets of pics, both with the FACTORY tires (PVD Chrome Lariat, Goodyear) and my NEW tires (RBP Rims/Nitto Grapplers)

I haven't re-calibrated with FORScan just yet, but my initial testing shows my speedometer is just barely under 1 MPH off. (I'm going 1 MPH faster than dash says)

If you look closely, you can see the chrome HYBRID logo on the bottom-right of the tailgate, and the Chrome/Black USA Flag on the back window (left side)

Your truck looks awesome and the wheels are killer! Are they a +10? All I could find them in are +10, 0, or -12. The stance and the tint really finish off the exterior. This is a great looking ride.

My mistake, ty. It’s +10, not +12. Thats like a 1/16th of an inch! ??. I went back and edited.

The wheels are amazing and I love that they are super rare in a state like Texas where we have almost as many trucks as we do people. I have yet to see another pair anywhere.

Great Post!!! Do you think you could fit 285/65R20's with your setup? I'll have a +20 offset. with 2" RL level. Thanks

Dealer probably installed it upside down for you. Dealer put mine upside down also.

Pull it off and take a look behind it. Arrows point up. Flip it and reinstall. It will be solid.

Wow, even with words and a graphic clearly indicating "UP" position, dealer staff installed it upside down... And they had a 50/50 shot at getting it right even without the clear instructions! Sad commentary on the level of incompetence that is out there.

@satexas - Outstanding writeup and pictures, thanks for taking the time to share.

Regarding the ArmorFlex tri-fold cover, really like it, but am thinking I'd really prefer a quad-fold cover so the rearview mirror could be used when the cover is in the flipped up and locked position.

Can anyone confirm that a quad-fold provides this benefit?

INTERIOR

Don't sleep on the "Medium Graphite" on the Lariat. I know a lot of you young guys love 'black', but it looks far cheaper, holds ALL dirt, and is just black everywhere. Notice with the Graphite you get various levels of gray that blend in well and compliment one another with quality, and hide dirt far better.

My truck DOES have the work surface addon.

All seats (front and rear) are perforated (the zillion little holes), and I don't have the B&O Unleashed, just regular B&O. Because this is a PowerBoost, I do NOT have a converter under the back bench seat, as you can see. The weird thing you can't figure out is a set of latch-tools for the bed that came with the truck (plastic sealed on a cardboard base). I put them there so they wouldn't slide around.

At the tint shop one of the employees had a 2020 F150 Lariat, and he sat in mine and was like 'holy cow', and I asked him if it was really that different? He said 'come see', we sat in his - and yeah, wow. Biggest changes I saw right away were the more 'upright' shape of the dash made the inside cab seen almost twice as roomy, and the quality/craftmanship is lightyears difference. Of course he has the 8" screen (as 12" didn't exist yet), but even the layout of it AND the console (center) both felt very lacking and less detail.. esp. with all the new zone lighting and such. Huge differences.

High Quality for a Truck (Lariat).
